  1. Maybe someone needs to show him some proof of the amps not making rated power , not something that you've heard in other forums. I work all these forums, and the only professional tests i've seen were done by, Sundown and Dat, so where are u guys getting your info from, because i would love to see some test results myself.

  2. actually i think it could go both ways, I'm looking in one of my old Car Audio mags. v6 of 2006, where they tested a Alpine PDX 4.150 and this is what they came up with

    Efficiency at 1/3 power, 1%THD lowest impedence.............................72%

Efficiency at full power, 1%THD, lowest impedence.............................92

if anybody has an old Car audio mag, it's Volume 6, of 2006 , on page 37

and in volume 9 of 2006 the tested 2 full range class D amps

    the Eclipse XA2000

efficiency at 1/3 power, lowest impedence...................................91

efficiency at full power, 1%THD lowest impedence........................89

    Pioneer PRS-D2000T

    efficiency at 1/3 power,lowest impedence..................................84

effeicieny at fulll power, 1%THD lowest impedence......................84

in all tests 2 ohm was the lowest impedence

so i could go both ways

  3. i have two 300 amp alternators and two rf t4000.1bd's how can i calculate how many batteries i need? i plan on running them both at 1 ohm. for example the odyessy pc2150's

i've heard that for every 1000 watts, you should have 100ah from each battery, so for your case you would need aleast 800 ah total
