  1. 2 12"s ;)

Kind of depends on who you are showing it off to... There isn't really a wow factor about 2 twelves, the tunnel would take more construction skill and a little more craftsmanship than the one 15 if u know i mean... Then again, someone hopping into ur car is gonna be pretty impressed staring at a 15 walled off... Personally, I like big subs, alot of flex, etc... So i'd go with a 15. It's also easier to build than a tube, and easier to wire up.

If you get the right 12s there is plenty of wow factor. But I'm a "show off with sound not sight" type person. If I could completely hide everything I have and just hear it I would.

  2. what you have picked out will be a perfectly good 1st system. there will always be something better and we can talk all day about that. if you like the sound of kickers, go for it. there is no reason to over power the subs with a 1500w amp before you even know how to tune the amp. stick with the 500w alpine, its a good amp and you will be less likely to burn up the subs when you make your user errors. and I mean no offense there, we all made mistakes in the beginning.

+1^ I went with that amp and 2 P1 12s for my first system and loved it for about 2 or 3 years, now i am rebuilding because i want more!

  3. Guess its good i dont really download stuff.. I usually have other ppl do it and send it to me lol... I mean idk it could be a good thing, it will get ppl out the house and doing more productive things... Maybe we wont be the fattest country in the world in 10yrs or so.. Hell it may just may even help the economy a lil... HAHA SIKE.. Weed will help the economy tho, and its safer then cigs and booze but thats not what this is about..

Other people wont be able to send you stuff because they won't even be able to get it. Do you go to any other forums besides SMD? If so kiss them goodbye. Youtube will cost you extra. Stubleupon, extra. Facebook, extra. Everything will cost, which will cause them to go wayyyy down in user count, which will cause them to stop making money, which will mean the thousands of people who work for companies such as Google, Ebay, Youtube, Facebook, etc., will LOSE their job. You think that will help the economy? The internet has done so much more good than bad, and you cannot blame it for people being lazy fat fucks. Alcohol does't cause alcoholics, cigarettes don't cause smokers. People choose how they wan't to be, and I would bet that without the internet, people will find another way to be fat and lazy.

  4. This has been in the making since around 2006. Nobody has heard about it? It's called Net Neutrality. The ISPs are trying to make the Net kind of like cable TV. You can go to certain sites for free, but that would be like yahoo and gmail simple things like that. Beyond that you must pay a fee to go to "premium" sites. What this means is, every little site in the entire web will fall. No more SMD, no more car forums, no more free online image hosting, porn?, all gone. The only thing we can do is stand up as a global community to stop this from happening. It's kind of late now, but it's never too late to try and stop this disaster. Google search "net neutrality" and pick a site, out of the many that are available, and most of them will have contact numbers and/or addresses for your local/state official. If enough people in the area let that person know that they do not support the restrictions then the representative SHOULD withhold their vote, or vote no.
