Damn I just looked at youtube and then seen this and thought i missed it somehow.. I will be waiting for the :hairtrick:
-
Aight i preciate it and i guess im gana have to take the engine out one day and take a look at it all just to see waht i need.. i swear Ive had to spend more money than I payed for it but im not bashing honda at all its been a great 4 wheeler
-
probably the shift forks inside the transmission housing are bad or the gears itself are
It doesnt worry me too much but i dont want the teeth on the gears to start sheering off.. think it will be an issue?? And also when coasting down hill in gear at higher speeds it blows out white smoke.. Ive heard it could be my valves but its still running strong..
-
Damn thats alot of snow!! I wish we could get a little here in georgia

I have had a 2000 honda recon since 2001 and here lately when you ride it you can be going down a hill and it seems to just come out of gear while it should be holding back.. I have replaced alot on this atv but it has been really good to me considering all the hell ive put it through that you cant even imagine.. but the engine hasnt gave me any problems at all except this and for a while the clutch has been slipping (the engine is turning but the wheels aren't).. Ive went through bearings in the rear end probly 10 times since ive had it and in the swingarm too from being in the mud so much and water and mud getting in the rear end but can anyone tell me why it would be coming out of gear like this??

So people I need your help again lol. Those 2 choices, Audioque 2200d and MB Quart discus DSC2000 were the choices, now the audioque has 2200 watts @ 1 ohm, and the mb quart is 2000 @ 1 ohm, my sub is 1200 watt max so will the mb quart be my best bet? Is 2200 watts to much? If the audioque won't bust my sub then that's going to be my choice .. I am REALLY unexperienced so don't bash me lol, I don't know a good watt range for amps and subs. Thanks for the help.
So if that sub you have is 1200 max your probly gana blow the shit out of it with either depending on what ohm load tho.. the audioque will do 2200RMS which if you wana talk about max power that would be 4400 max.. But you should just go by the rms rating.. The audioque would run 500 watts to it at 4 ohms then like said before you would have alot of untapped power
EDIT btw im votin the AQ

Nice numbers man.. U know of any more comps around here soon??
-
Yea shoulda been in the vid section and they arent really that impressive from what ive seen in vids.. but who knows maybe im wrong
-
I do like those vids haha.. always good
-
Didnt think i liked this the first time i heard it but after listening to it a few times i think its a damn good song
-
Good shit bro nice windsheild flex
-
btw im pretty sure all the L7's are only a 1000watts RMS and 2000 MAX. So i wouldn't throw the full force of that amp at it.
Dual 2ohm can only be wired at 1 or 4 ohm so you would need another dual 2 to wire to 2ohm. Best suggestion is sell the kicker and get a 1ohm stable amp

Oh, well here is a link to all of the amps specs.

You cant wire the zx1500 to one ohm though.. if he wants to run the sub at 2 ohms hes gana have to get a dvc 4ohm woofer
-
cant be wired at 2.. only 1 and 4
-
Damn hes lucky he got that knocked down
-
ummm what? not to be rude but I cant understand you at all
Me neither
-
a 15" cvx will not do good on that power. i vote two cvx's
Id do this also.. used to have 2 cvxs and they banged like hell of 750 rms a piece
-
awesome. thats just what i was looking for. Thanks
Not postively sure on the 285s with stock height though.. they are 33 inches tall but around 11 and a half wide.. they fit on the 98's and older tho
-
I have a 2001 Tahoe and was wondering which option to go with. First, what is the beefiest size i can place on the stock wheel/height? Or second. If I got a 4" lift what size wheel/ tire reccomendation do you have? I really like the Wragler duratracs I saw a set in 315/75/16. What size wheel would that fit?
Thanks
That would fit a 16 inch wheel.. the last number is the wheel size.. with the stock height u may can fit a 285/75 under it.. with a 4 inch lift i wouldnt go any bigger than 33/12.50's
