  1. Dang its still not working right? I'll add your link to the top post as well just in case. But yea I wish more mainstream artist touched the subjects that Tech does, but that's not where the big moneys at. This may not be for everyone though because I know a lot of people don't like political type rap. I'm liking it though, a few of the tracks are skippable but solid overall, especially for a free mixtape. My only complaint is that it has a lot of features, but that's just a small complaint since all the features do good.

  2. Immortal Technique just released his mixtape for free over twitter. He wants people to share it so thought I'd share with my bass loving brothers too lol. Here you go and let me know what you think.

Edit: New link added below that should work better.

  3. Many on here may not of heard of Lowkey, but hes a rapper/political activist from the UK and he's releasing his new cd "Soundtrack to the Struggle" tonight. Y'all might not like his type music and/or you might not agree with his views, but I thought I'd post a few of his songs and see what some of you thought.

  4. Saw this on a hip hop forum and thought it was kinda funny and fits this topic a little.

"so ive listened to the carter iv a couple times already now, and i started to notice something. hes been using the same (almost identical) metaphors for the last few years now. i dont think ive ever seen someone re-use their rhymes as much as this. its almost lazy. take a look and let me know if you find more. this is what i got if you listen to his last 2 albums:

"the game is a bitch i got my hand up her dress" -john

"most of yall dont get the picture less the flash is on" -6 foot 7 foot

"how can you get the picture if you dont know who took it" -abortion

  5. Yea Tech, Hopsin, C-Mob, and MGK are my favorite artist at the moment. I don't like Lil Wayne either but i dont think it's that big of a deal as long as hes his MUSIC stays the same and he stays true to himself.

Haha my friend is friends with hopsin, when he comes to TN on April 30th he hooked us up with VIP back stage passes. Lil wyte and jellyroll and 36 are supposed to be there also.

Thats the show I'm wanting to go too! Don't know if ill be able to make though.

  6. Hey guys this is my first post so im not 100% sure how all this works, but anyway i added bass to the Michael Myers theme song. Its probably already been done plenty of times on here but i didnt check. Now it doesnt hit the low lows (only like 45hz-34hz or so) but it sounds good on my system, so i thought id share and see what kind of responses i got. I tried to put alittle (really freaking long) sweep in there at the end but it didnt really turn out the best but take it as it is lol. You guys still might want to check for clipping, i tried my best to keep it out and i couldnt find any significant signs of clipping, but who knows? Well i guess just try it out and tell me what you think. :D
