I would get a RF T1000-1bd. It would be perfect for those subs. I have one and it's awesome, I'm thinking about selling it though to get a T1500bd.

3000 rms? I would probably get a H/O alt and a second bat. Or like 3 big extra bats. 1500 rms? I would just get a H/O alt and not worry about a second bat or anything.

Is 200amps really H/O? My alt now is starting to mess a little bit because of my system now, but it's also probally the only alt the car has had... that means its like 16 years old. But if I did do the 200 amp alt, that would stop dimming and voltage drop?

Any other comments or opinions?

Ok, thanks. I have never seen my voltage drop below 12.8, but that was with Heater on full blast, low beams, and fogs, and bumping while idleing.

I would love to do that, but I'm on a budget, kinda. I need a new alt either way. Going to be about $300 for the 200a alt, and if I could get away with like a Kinetik 800 or something around $100 for a bat, I could probaly do that... But not really looking for $500 on an alt and bat... Or I could replace my stock alt with a stock alt for about $100 and go with a bigger battery, like a Kinetik 1400 or 1800 for around $200... totaling $300

I thought I would get answers from "the people" first, then go see what "the man" says. I know that electrical is always most important, I'm just wondering if people think it would be OK to run a 200a alt with 1.5k rms instead of a 100a alt + bat or cap and 1.5k rms. thanks

Would upgrading from a stock "105 amp" alternator to an Iraggi 200a be good enough to support 1.5k rms? I was thinking instead of getting a second bat or a cap that a new higher out put alternator would be better, since my alternator is starting to go out. It would be cheaper for me to do this because for a second bat it'd be about $200 + I need a new alt. With my current Alt, I bearly see any voltage drop, sometimes I get about a 1 volt drop but nothing really much more. But I'm thinking about getting a RF T1.5k instead of using my t1k. Well, this thing freaking slams, my ears have been hurting like mad for a few hours after listening to it for about 15 minutes. Never gets warm, stays pretty cold.

Uhm, I would do dual 2s because then you could get a 1.5 ohm load, the lowest, I think.

I think that 6 12 Qs would be awesome to see in a Tahoe. Should be really clean and loud while being clean.

I would get a new alt if I could get a legit 200 amp on for like $250, but I don't see that happening, alts are expensive. If i got a new alt, probably wouldn't need a cap or bat, but would still probably go with a cap. It'll be a while before I do any of that though.

I will probably never listen to music with my amp on and the car off... so no need for a second battery. I would be getting a Rockford Fosgate Cap, so it won't be some cheap piece of crap.

Lol @ I havn't seen any drops while bumping, only had amp wired up to 2 ohms, 850 rms, and will be wiring the BL at 1 ohm. Caps are helpful, idk why this forum is against them. For lower powered systems they can be better or just as good as a second Bat.

I plan on running it off a RF t1k, puts out about 1350rms at 14.4 and my voltage usealy about 14.8ish. Hopefully this gets it moving good, if not i'll sell it and get a t1.5k or maybe a sundown 1200 or 1500 or a AQ 2200. Just hopping it likes the t1k, then I gotta get a cap or bat. not sure yet.

I hope this thing like the T1K, if not guess I'll sell it and get a T1.5k... might like that one a bit better.

Level 4s are rated at 1000 rms, if you watch your gains they both maybe able to handle it. Or if you wire it to 4ohms lol
