    You can save files (Banking info,smaller programs,etc.) onto a cd or a flash drive as mentioned above. I thought the OP was asking if he could make a copy of someone else's Vista and put on his computer. Which can be done, it is called cloning an operating system - but it isn't a beginner's task, which is why I referred to pc website. So he could read what was involved/at risk and make decision on his own... I clone my OS at first boot, so if there's a problem I just pop that in, and i'm right back to where I was!!!

    ***I back-up to flashdrive everynight, btw...***

    OP: Search and there are Key generators still out there for XP!!! Google's your friend!!

    is it possible to burn windows to a cd so i could install it on another computer???...

    There is a way to copy the files, but I am way too lazy this morning to type the instructions. Just go to maximumpc.com and search for cloning operating system, that should yield you plenty of results... BTW, I am running ubuntu on kids computer and for most part no problems, they just can't play any of the windows games on it... But there are ways around that as well... Hope this helps!!!

    What I did, and it looks really good is I pulled the cardboard w/headliner out and took a wire brush to take off all the old foam. Then I got 1 can of 3m super adhesive and sprayed the clean fiber/cardboard and covered it with a dark grey commercial felt. It looks really good for my $12 fix - google headliner repair and they can help also. But you can use almost any fabric as long as it is thick enough to not soak up glue. I dont have a camera so I can't show you. I will try with cell...

    Don't feel bad... My buddy(The one who wants to get his Durango metered) is deciding whether he is going to this, or to park with his new gf... And I have nothing to bring, mines torn down... Guess I could take the wifey's van with her w6, just to play... But not lookin like i'm going to make it to this one!!! :sorry:

    I may be going... My buddy has a durango that he wants to get metered... But wont have mine yet(Started rebuild) unless I take the wifey's minivan, but after seeing this one - she will want to go bigger and that can't happen til mine's done!!! Mine first!!! lol - Dunno, Gotz1 columbus, huh?? You'll roll right thru my town (Toledo)!!!
