    Wow...idk, whoever would be in the back, would have a screen right in the face! It's ur car, depends on how bad you want one I guess! I don't think I would do it imo. Do you have a in dash one? Maybe some head rest....that is if you don't have them!

    yeah i already have indash i wasnt to sure about the flipdown though.Yeah i was thinking bout some headrest i can get some 11.2 headrest for 350 /pair so i might just do that

    Not sure if this answers your question any, but a buddy of mine put a flipdown in some suv, not sure exactly what it was that had a sunroof. It caused the headliner to sag quite a bit, so he got some epoxy and bonded the headliner to the roof (or something up there, I couldn't see from the angle I was at)

    So it can probably be done, but you might have to do something additional to get it to stay correctly.

    You said a double din but the kvt series is a single din. The dnx is a double din. But all the pioneers i have used have a bad rca grounding issue after awhile. If u use the kenwood you can get the steering wheel control moduale for it and the harness is a data harness that works with the factory amp.

    Yea u right but the only reason im puttin that in is cause i already had it but ive been looking for a double din because it just looks cleaner to me.

    i'm assuming you have a gmos or equivalent harness to install it (metra is down, i cant rele check which one is right, you're prob able to get away with an xsvi harness)

    if you get a metra or scoche dash kit, it should come with instructions on how to install everything, unless its a generic kit

    as far as steering wheel controls, check peripheral and axxess, its more so reliant on the headunit you're putting in than anything, and its generally a pita to get working, make sure your headunit is "wired remote capable" or soemthing along those lines, or you're SOL

    some that you would think would do it, just dont (like pioneer's flagship avic-f90...1200$msrp nav that cant even have steering wheel controls

    The radio is a Kenwood Excelon Kvt-717dvd as of right now but i do think i will be upgrading to a pioneer of some sort just which ever i want. I went with this one because i have it already and it has a higher pre-out voltage for a clean signal.

    Im sure the plastic around the radio pops right out but not sure! you cant use the steering wheel controls with aftermarket radios unless u have a special connection witch you would have to buy in order to keep them usefull, and the factory amp, will still work juts make sure u hook up all the wires on the cd player harness. good luck

    I got a 09 impala and im plannin on puttin a double din in it,but i had a couple ?'s.First one is how do i take off the surround around the radio.Second i wanted to know if there as a something for me to hook upi so that i can still use the controls on my steering wheel. last but not least i wanted to know if i could still use my factory amplifier with and after market radio?

    I have a 1980 Cadillac Coupe Deville. It has 51000 original miles. Runs needs slight adjustments to carb but runs. Looking for good setup of subs and or amps...looking possibly for FI BTl 18's or 15's of other subs of good quality. Give me an offer....ill take a look at anything....

    To be honest you and nobody else can judge that man like that and call him a dumb ass and nothing but trash. How many people you know drink and drive , i bet you dont call them a dumbass.Yeah he should'nt have been drinking and driving but its something people do everyday.It could have been worse he could have been fuckin a nobody ass hotel worker like kobe but since he scored 81 damn pionts everybody forgot about that shyt or he could be like chris henry and just keep gettin charges. All im sayin is dont slander the man especially when none of us are in the position to do it cause we have our on faults. he fucked up but at least it isnt something as serious as some of these other dudes beatin up people for some money u threw on the ground.Everybody fucks up it sjust how he rebounds and learns from his mistakes
