So how do all these people run over 1500watts with stock alt. with not nearly as much drop that I am getting? Yeah HO alternator for the armada is $500. That sucks
well i have no clue maybe your alt. is shot cause i have a stock alt and it dosnt drop nearly that much so i dont know

yeah lol cause towards the end he says his lights almost go completely out so thats pretty bad voltage drop

you probably should look into getting a bigger alt
maybe even an extra battery
not sure on that one if your lights go basically all the way out lol

ha ha ha....awesome...I think I had either a 91 or a 94..I do not remember. and I paid 2500 for it back in 2000
yeah they usually dont go very cheap but the engine is worth a good bit
im pretty sure they use a 4g63 or 64 in the evo's and such cars i think still

Its in the shop now, im gettin cams a 16g or 20g turbo havent decided yet and a front mount and full open exhaust and headers
its going to be nasty

no problem...get the most you can out of those subs and amp...then..it will be time to upgrade..:)
well i also have a directed audio 1100 d class amp i want to get 1 or 2 extra batteries if need and hook them up to my 2 kicker cvr 12's
so its should be decently loud i hope

ok cool so you can go to 1 ohm...that is good. my sub on the other hand can only do 3 ohm or .75 ohms.

without knowing the impedance of the VC's, I could not tell you how to get 1 or 2 ohms. might not even be possible.
if it is dual 4 ohm wire everything in parallel, should get you to 1 ohm. you cant get to 2 ohm with 2 dual 4's.
if dual 2 then do parallel/series should get ya 2 ohms then

I bet the guy is serious about his question and he doesn't need those kind of answers.
Well on to the question, you need to wire your woofer differently.
You can check on rockfordfosgate.com or 12volt.com (I think that's what the second site is called, not sure though)
But check on those site and I believe its calle the "Wiring Wizard" that should help.

how many subs, dual or single voice coil, and impedance of each voice coil
i have 2 15's and they are dual voice coil but im not sure on impedance
ill have to check into that

yeah ide check the amps coming out of your alts yourself first and go from there
