  2. I don't know about you guys but the health hazards and dying any second is kind of a turn off for mining.

    It aint that dangerous. Hell of alot safer underground than it is driving every day.

    Black lung aint as common what it use to be with all the new laws and regulations

    My mine has not had a single death since it opened and that was 30 years ago.

  3. go take a class to become a coal miner. Then you can go apply at any coal mine and there are alot in IL and IN that you can make really good money at

    How much we talking?

    at my mine you start off making almost 18 an hour and then after 2 years you will be making almost 25 an hour. Just starting out with all the overtime you get and can volunteer for you make 42k a year starting out

    And my mine is one of the lowest paying mines starting out.

  5. and just to let everyone know. Last time i talked to dd was when they released the pics of the new 4 and 6" coil z and they told me the 4" coil Z was in production and there were a couple guys trying them out. But they were having trouble making a 6" coil that would hold up. They went thru the guy who makes the mtx jackhammer coil to make the 6" coil.
