What you need to do is add some conditional comments. They are designed to give special instructions meant only for Internet Explorer on Windows. In the head of your page you can add something like:

You can add the styles right in those blocks, or call a whole new style sheet for those specific browsers.

Sorry about that, your post gave me the impression that you are looking for a new head unit and you were looking for some suggestions. You said that you did not want another Alpine, but I thought I would throw out that the 9886 is a solid unit. IMO much better than the 9887. Just wanted to give you positive feedback about another option.

While you are working on under the hood wiring, I would personally swap out that circuit breaker with a fuse. I've heard too many bad things about circuit breakers.

No you should not have to retake it. I've had my license suspended 4 times when I was young (I was a jerkoff in my youth) and I never had to take it again. I even got a DUI and did not have to take it when I got my license back from that. You should be cool.

Are you planning on running the q-logic kick panels? That would be a pair of tweeters there, and another pair in the A pillars would leave 8 left. I see 10 rings. Im either missing something or just bad at math (or still hungover).
