  1. it being loose was the only thing he could think of but wanted to post it up on here to make sure it wasnt something else and just to get some ideas. the amp was working fine when he took it out. the wire strands fused themselves to the amp i guess because it got so hot. can he still use the amp and just try to remove and clean out all the wire in the terminal or does he need to get a new one put on the board before he reinstalls it? it looks worse in the picture than it really is its just the plastic around it that melted and theres not that much wire in there that hes going to have to try to get out.

  2. Well guys took the truck to my buddy that is a mechanic and we came to find out that the first thing we looked at where the fuses and started to test it and begin to look for the drian and voltage drop.... First one we check we got it right and comes out to be my screen is draining my battery its drawing power even tho the truck is turned off....cause when we took out the fuse the volt meter will go up and when we put the fuse back it would start to drain little by little :D:drinks: .....

Now I'm :censored: mad cause i called JVC cause im still within the 1 yr warrenty of my indash they saying that they can honor the warrenty cause i got it from ebay... but i got it brand new from a company not just some regular person selling the screen.....

  3. its called a parasitic drain. its not THAT uncommon. i dont think its you alt. that sounds more like a guy that doesnt know and is trying to guess. we all do that some times. look up how to find a parasitic drain.

now if it is the alarm, is it fixable or is that just something you have to live with? i have a drain as well and i think its the alarm so this could help me as well.
