  1. It's garbage, don't waste your hard earned money on something that'll blow in a month or two.

Add a little more money and get a quality amp that can be beat on without fear of damaging it.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

  2. Lol yea, I did the same, but I just googled my car model/year + powerbastards, and saw the write up someone did on it... They had to shave 1/2" off the case of the alt, press the pulley off, lathe the pulley out to a larger size, and extend the pulley post about an inch just to make the pulley line up with the rest if the system. Just not worth it. If I'm gonna drop a pretty penny on something that's "made to fit", I want to be able to take out the stock equipment and directly swap it with little to no modifications.

Damn, that's shitty. I would have had to demand a refund if I were them.

  3. Don't do it. They make a "universal" one that fits anything.... Don't buy into that shit. The universal one requires modification to either your car, or the alt itself..... Either way, you're gonna be voiding some sort of warranty. Go with DC, Mechman, or Singer. They're reliable. Always keep in mind, you get what you pay for.

Your right, that is always true.

    You emailed/called DC power / mechman / singer>?

I have not, just doing a little window shopping :]

  4. Just doing some research and what not, figured I would look up alternators for my car(06 ford 500). I haven't seen any direct mount H.O alt's for my car ever until I stumbled upon Power bastards. I've never heard of them, have any of you? Are they reliable alternators?

I'm in no way shape or form trying to advertise for these guys, just curious on how there product is.

    Thanks!
