Traffic rank as of 7:17 A.M EST = 87,618
U.S. Traffic Rank = 19,223
I like the fact that the percent of people that came to SMD from a search engine in the past 7 days has jumped 53% and the number of people in the world visiting SMD has raised 20% in the last 7 days.
That's some good shit Bro. Keep up the great work and we may see 60k in the near future.
sounds good to me my only other goal is to overtake the "other" big car audio site and officially be the biggest......although our google page rank is better, i want that Alexa #, to seal the deal
that "other" site is 81,038
You should be proud that you beat out the number the two drink in america. www.pepsi.com was 97,182 a minute ago.

Steve,
Where did you get the neo magnets from?
-
looks good man. You have any trouble with your trunk not opening up when you press the button. After i put min in it pops the latch but doesn't open the trunk. But that just a little price to pay for a good trunk lid. Now all i need to do is cut a hole back out of the deadener so i can put in some great stuff in the braces.
-
at a sound shop called new orleans sounds in gretna la. and to answer your other question the L7 ported will need 3cuft min each so if you do 2 thats 6cuft not counting port and sub displacement
yeah that way to big for my trunk. i still need to be able to carry stuff around in it.
-
you work all 10 hour days all week and want to leave on time friday and you boss comes in and works for 4 hours says he's going home and needs you to stay and work 12 hours. FUCK THAT!
-
as already said, but only because of your box space imo, the xl is a better fit for you, the 2 l7 would need a larger box to perform correctly
how big of a box are you talking?
-
not yet i dont have $650 laying around to get my own meter lol but on april 24th they got a SPL comp by me and im going!
where's the meet at.

2008 chevy impala
you put it on the tl yet.
-
If you have a sundown amp why not stick to sundown there z v.2 15 is beasty and sounds clean. I've owned both a XL and Z v.2 and the sundown is where its at. Not being biased just going by what I know.
what is a good cube size for that sub.
-
i took one video with my cell phone before i tweaked the amp but it looks like crap and i hear the 1000/1 can put out around 1200rms but either way i wanna get another amp but for right now its what i had and it works for now.
what kind of vehicle is it in.
-
Now i have the LVL 4 w/5 coils, i've heard nothing but good on the XLs, heck i love what i have and couldn't imagine the XLs, but that's my next setup which is two 15XLs on a AQ 3500.1
i see that you have 2 lvl 4's. that will probably be louder then tyhe one lvl 4xl
-
i just sold my kicker L7 15" to buy a Level 4XL 15" and its in the trunk of my 2008 impala in a 4cuft box port tuned around 30Hz running off my JL 1000/1 and i could not be happier. this thing is awesome!! if you get the kicker you will be missing out cause while my kicker hit hard it just couldnt take power as good as the DC and wasnt close to sounding as clean and tight as the DC. DC FTW!!!
got any videos of the sub.
Also, how much power does a 1000/1 through out. If it's 1000 then is it under powering the sub
-
Go for the XL!
know anyone that sells them. i have no clue what they cost.
-
i was looking at getting a lvl 4 xl 15" or 2 12" kicker l7's. I have a saz 1500d amp and about 3.5 to 4 cubic feet of box space to work with. It will be a trunk car if that makes a difference.
-
anyone else thing that the next project should be redoing the interior to match.
-
0.25-0.3 cubes.
cool thanks. how much for 2 when they come out
-
what size sealed box would be good for this sub?

I got my 1080p Camcorder from WalMart for $100 yes I said $100. Its a no name brand but this little thing is awesome. It uses SD cards to record (up to 4Gb) It roughly comes out to 5hrs of video on one card. Its a AGFA Photo DV-5000HD (1280 x 720) I was looking at a Kodiak (720 x 480)for $400 then I saw this little Gem. I'll Post Pics of it when I find my crappy still camera
no disrespect man but that 4GB's for 5hrs of video must be at the lowest quility right? I know for 1 hr of 1080P high def recording it's about 12 GB's

I have been in the market for a camcorder for a while now. I was wondering if anyone had a really nice that wasn't a touch screen (fat fingers) and shoot full HD with image stabalization in digial zoom. Or something close to that. I want to try and keep it uder 800. I don't know what steve uses most of the time but some of his vids look real nice on a computer screen but i wanted one that would look good on a 65 inch.
Any help would be helpful. When i get one you'll see alot more of me pic and vid wise.

everyone bitches about bikes on this thread, but what you guys don't realize is that bikes have to be loud so you know they're there. they told us in driving school that since motorcycles are so small that it helps with people blind spots.
-
ya i know, but they dont say efficiency on that test. i just wanted to show you efficiency numbers.
and that does help. but i think i left enough head room for what i'm doing for the effiency to drop to about 59 or 60%.
-
they did another clamp test on smd a while back. those were the first 1500d's. i think they got a little better over the last 3 years. he's the link.

Steve,
Not to change the subject but, what was the actual name/dupont number for the candy blue on chickens caddy. I wanted to maybe do something like that for my '70 chevelle.
