  1. fixed^. :D

good fix.. I need rusty to figure out what kind of #s i have to work wih in the box.. Its gonna be big and tuned low ( 18 is what im shooting for ) , And its not like i dont think the sub cant do it, but its not designed for it.. If its a no, then Im just gonna buy an Exodus Audio Tempest X2 ( its a HT sub ) tune a 7 CF box to 16 hz and throw it in the burban :D

  2. go for it, worst thing that could happen is it will sound like shit, but go try it. our lvl 3 is a sq sub. so try it man

    Bills

It seems like a nice street beater "mild"SPL sub.. Suspension is pretty still and Bl is a little high.. I kind of wanna know if its worth it before i build a 10 CF enclosure that costs me $100, when im doing this while "laid off" lol

  3. not using the car that much this winter , but now that im laid off I would like a mid winter project :D Would it be possible to somehow get these into a HT setup tuned around 18-20 hz? Ive been doing some plotting with a few other people, and its possible it might work but im not sure if its worth it, as they may just be a little to much on the CA side and give me basically SPL instead of 20 hz like you want in HT.. So Yay, Nay?

  4. Alright, I'm kinda stuck here. I'm looking to buy a nice sub for a small room (10x10 aprox., didn't measure). I like alota bass and I'm looking for something not boomy but HQ as well as something that will shake the walls. I'm currently using the sub from a Logitech Z-2300 system, but I've outgrown it. It's too directional, and I've hit it's limit plenty of times, plus it can't go down further than 35 Hz. I had my eye on a BIC V1020, but I'm not sure so do you have any comments for that? I really want a Klipsch Synergy Sub 10, but it's too expensive for my budget :(

Any ideas? Oh yea, I almost forgot, my budget. I don't wanna spend a lot on the sub, as I still have yet to buy a receiver/speakers (Onkyo TX-SR507/Dayton HTS-1200B). And I'm not quite clear on how much I will have to spend, but it's definitely at least $385.

    Thanks in advance!

I had a klipsch sub 12, it was nice but not worth $500, So I utilized best buys 30 day return policy ;)

I would suggest an eD A2-300 , Great sub for the $ goes deep hits hard and is very very well made.. Oh and it pretty much destroyed the klipsch i had, if you would like to use that as a reference

  5. your take ur volume and divide by the number of ports u have, and then figure tuning, and thats how long each port should be...

so take 13cubes/4ports=3.25cubes use that as ur volume and one six inch port in ur equation and get ur tuning....then whatever length u come up with, every port needs to be that long..

so yea, if it says 15" long, then they all should be that long

also , how do you know if your using to big of a port or not .. for example, in a large enclosure if port length didnt matter , what would the dif. be between 4/ 6"aeros compared to 4-4'' aeros.. Obviously there is more port area, but is there a time when you can have to large of a port or to much port area, and what does it do

  6. Dont know for your application. Subs gonna react diff in diff boxes but I'd say yeah it could do it!

    wow bro, very nice vid!!!

Sorry if it was mentioned or anything is different from your sig , but was it just a test on the one seb ?? how big was the enclosure and how much power?

and through that it held up and still plays normal?? very impressive.. props to rusty and the DC crew :good::shok:
