  1. nice truck big man, glad you decided to stay in the family :)

bet it came with a kickass warranty too, eh?

hell ya the BEST warranty!! plus 7 years of free oil changes, wiper blade replacements and anything else short of tires and gas is all covered 100%. That alone is enough to justify some of the large price tag :D Makes me feel better anyhow.

question though. With your own lift and many tools at your disposal why would you not do the oil changes yourself along with the customization you do to your vehicles? I guess I just assume you would buy your own oil brand that you like because the dealer will be using their motorcraft oil (granted it is EXACT spec for the ford truck). I just get paranoid when anybody other than me works on my baby which is why I have done everything myself

  2. I had a tiny thing with them too when I bought my amp. Basically 3 days after it was supposed to be shipped out to me I still hadn't heard from them with my tracking so I sent a simple email asking for an update. I didn't demand anything and was not harsh about it. I was sent a 3 paragraph reply about how they worked so hard to repair it and this and that and basically saying how dare you ask for an update when we are slaving away on your amp. I took the high road though and said thanks for the update. I don't care if you have to traverse a volcano. You offered me amp A for x dollars in y days. 3 days overdue, I am nice and understanding about mistakes happening, I just ask for a simple email saying letting me know it's a few days behind schedule.

  4. I have been working as a mechanic for the last 5 years. The first 4 as an aircraft mechanic, now as a car mechanic. I actually think I spend as much time with my ring off as I do on. For safety reasons of course. We would always get safety lectures about wearing rings and the attention grabber they used was of something called gloving. Basically your ring gets stuck somewhere, something moves, the ring comes off whether the skin on your finger wants it to or not..... not a pretty sight look it up on google images

edit never realized there were 3 pages and somebody already posted about this

  5. I have an 05 explorer. Does yours have a roof rack? Mine did and accounted for a huge amount of rattle so I took it off and it sounded great. Also what I did was put weather stripping around the edges of the rear hatch and the license plate. I have 3 layers of second skin on the rear hatch and a strip in the middle of the plate. It helped reduce flex but the hatch still vibrated against the back and the plate still vibrated against the rear hatch and that metal on metal was annoying

  6. Take a router or some sandpaper to the port openings in order to give them a rounded opening. Be sure to do this on the inside as well.

I have areo ports so that wouldnt do much good thank though....i think i just need bigger ports....im like 20dbs louder in my port then i am in my kick so i might see a gain going bigger port two :drinks:

will that help? Last year I hit a 139 sealed at the dash which sucked and hit a 156.1 in the port I was told that was pretty good but Im not sure I have never cared about numbers
