  1. i mean just because your amps peak RMS is 1700 it doesnt mean you have to set the gains to that amount.

ya thats what im planning on doing

i got the amp for a really good deal and i figured since i wouldnt be pushing the amp as hard since it is way more powerful than the Q that it would put less strain on the amp.

  2. im thinking 2 bl 12s with the MD3D

    or 2 lvl 4s with the md3d

Ray has a good deal as well

and i believe XtremeSPL is selling a 15" Q as well for like 220 maybe

    heres what you do

get a 15 inch fully loaded BL and a kicker zx1500.1 or RFt1500bd in as big of a box as you can fit in your trunk at that shit will slam to hell for well under 1k if you look in the right place

  3. and if you notice, they are dual .7 actually, which would yeild 1.4 ohms in series, so with box rise you should get at least 1500w on good electrical, more like 16-1700..... which is alot of a q w/bp power

ya i have a shitty electrical system with a tiny alt so im gonna be running it at 2 ohms prolly at like 1300 rms on the Q but i wont get the Q until i sell my diamond d6s which is hopfully soon. but i have to run those stupid things at 1 ohm since they are a dual 4 ohm dvc sub. if it sucks too much out of my electrical ill see how it does with 4 ohms. im just makin sure i have all the info needed so the second i sell my subs my Q will be ordered!

  4. I bought a kicker zx1500.1 and i want to run my sub on 2 ohms. i thougth if i wanted to accomplish this i needed to get the dual 2 ohm option but on a website i was on it said the only way i can achieive 2 ohms is if i get the dual 1 ohm option for a singal 12 inch Q. can somebody clarify please

  5. Dude! Thats a pretty siick video.

But GAWDAMN am I glad Im in Cali and will never have to worry bout that ish.

i would die if i lived in cali year round.. winter is my favorite season.. i would die without the snow and the cold!

thats a pretty damn sick video though bro.. i might have to try that on the next big snow fall! cept i dont have a trunk so it will be fallin off the roof!

thanks for the advise though guys appreciate it..

where do you live man looks like a pretty decent snow fall?

  6. a guy from a local audio shop has the same subs as i do... 2 12 inch diamond D6s and he takes his system out in the winter. im wondering if this might be a good idea. it is definatey not as loud until my truck warms up so im not sure if the really cold weather is very good for them. i live in minnesota so for about 5 months its below freezing and it can get down to about -20 here so does anyone have any input?

  7. do a 6" Fabtech Dirt Logic kit.... you will own your buddy's! ;) click linky then scroll down to your year...

    http://www.fabtechmotorsports.com/applicat...d95-056lug.html

not a big fan of the 6 inchers plus ill have to spend alot more money on bigger tires

more along the lines of a 2.5 inch or 3 inch suspension lift done on a budget.. haha

got any ideas it doesnt have to be coilovers i just want the ride to be good and have them last a long time

  8. here you go dude, just point out the parts that "rusted" out! http://www.revtekindustries.com/product_se...&modelid=11 the company i work for is the nations largest Revtech distributer, and just because something only cost $350 does not mean that its crap! i personally know 2 Baja 1000 race teams that run R/T suspension on their chase trucks...

i wasnt talking about spacers i was talking about coil overs..

so revtek does not make coilovers?

im confused my buddy told me he had revtek but maybe not.. the part that rusted out on his coil overs was the part that you could adjust how high you want to sit..

my info may have been not accurate sorry for the confusion..

i had the 2.5 inch donahoe coilover on my truck that i had before the tacoma i have now and before my land cruiser and i loved them no probelms with them at all.

i currently dont have a lift but i might look into revtek if you say they are that good!

  9. i still gotta disagree bro! please do tell which parts rusted out, because the only parts that are not cnc'd billett alluminum would be the grade 9 u-bolts... <_< i've been doing this shit for over 10 years now... so please correct me if im wrong! BTW let your buddies know that Revtech has a lifetime guarantee FTW! im real curious on what parts "rusted" out so holla back... ;) also i'd really like to see a "better" spacer kit for a '06 Tundra

naw im talkin coilovers not spacers and it might be different on the newer model toy trucks

  10. so i have a 98 ext cab toyota tacoma with 2 diamond d6s in it.. when my windows are up my subs are really not that loud it almost just sounds like they are slappin but no real bass.. now when i roll both my windows all the way down it is rediculously loud like i cant even be in the truck. but minnesota winters are cold and i cant be rollin with my windows down in the winter. is this because my cab is really small?
