is it alright to go with a fuse thats too big? cause i have a 150 amp alt so i would be fine with say a 200 amp fuse right? But what would cause it to catch on fire

Just bought the wires from scottie yesturday. I have heard different things on wiring but i need to know if i need to add a fuse between my alt and batt when i put the new 1/0 on there. What will happen if i don't? The old wire has one on it but its only a 150amp alt so i think i will be fine. Also is it recomended to leave all the other stock wires on when i do it and just add the new wires or should i take them all off. Thanks for the help!

I am looking to buy two Fi Q 18's D1, two AA havocs or any other two 18's that can take 2k and be wired to 1ohm. Also looking to buy a Hifonics BXi 2610D or any other amp relative in price.

Yea the price on the Q's is only about 100 dollars difference and i'd rather go with something big than keep upgrading.

What would probablt be louder, ok need opinios on the three. they would all be wired to 1 ohm on a Brurus 2610D. Comparing these because they can take relativly the same amoun of power and cost within 20 dollars of each other. Vote in poll and put in your opinions. please no post dumping thanks.

Are there any Programs out there for wiring subs and amps? Like you can select the number of subs what ohm type of amps how many and what not ... if not that would be a very cool and helpfull program.
