  1. I would have hated to be the one who had to mount those. Looks baller as fuck, but the sidewall is too small for me. But I prob have allot worse roads in CT than you do in CA.

X2 and living in Southern Illinois (the state don't fix our roads worth a Phuck because all the money that our crook politicians swindle for Chicago), our roads ain't worth a crap ether.

I can't wait to get out of school so I can find a job that pays, that way I can Afford some 6's for my Tahoe.

  2. thats a very cool thing dude. very cool.

I feel that with how bad the economy is and that I have the time and I get a grade for it I could help some people keep some cash in their pocket if they need something machined or fabricated.

    i have 2 5-axis CNCs and a Laser machine ;)

I wish we had access 5-axis. (I've went back to school in the hopes to learn enough to become a CNC operator)

  3. ok well i didnt want to modify it too much so i can try to pull it out of the stock and place it next to my new filter. the reason i took this out was to make room for a new batt. and that stock filter is HUGE and takes up a lot of room. so if i understand correctly, pull it out and place it next to my new filter (zip-tie?).

Not if it is a Mass Air Sensor! That will have to be placed in the air tube after the filter. (You don't want to F that thing up!) Only way you would have been able to zip tie it to the filter would have been if it was a Air Inlet Temp sensor which looking at the plug now, I don't think that is what it is. (Sorry man!)

  4. Looks like a Mass Air Sensor and no you can not bypass that with out a Huge modification to convert your ECU to a speed Density based system. You could try and take that sensor out of the factory air box and try to graft it into the new air tube that you have the filter attached to.

It could also be a Air inlet temp sensor and if thats what it is you can take it out of the factory box plug it in and zip tie it to the aftermarket filter where it can get a reading of the air temp that is going through the filter.

Post a picture of the aftermarket intake system. That way we can see what kind of options you have on putting the sensor in that air tube.

  5. With a .50 Cal your not going to miss much... :8)

Whats nice about the .408 shell is it stays (supersonic) with a precision range of 2,187 yards (Farther then the .50). <--- Not say'n I would not give my left Nut for a Barret Model 82A1 .50 but I think the .408 is a much more superior gun. Its kind of comparing a Enzo Ferrari (The .50) to a Bugatti Veyron (.408) Both are fast and beautiful cars but the Bugatti is much more refined.

  6. do u think the same bracket will fit my truck i have a 02 sierra. ill be more than happy to pay for shipping.

If it has the 4.8 or the 5.3 motor I believe they are the same. It will take me a little bit for the design of it. I wish I had one to digitize but I don't and I'll have to draw one up from scratch. unless I can find a print of one already drawn up on the net some where.

  7. Sorry Stephen. I'm lucky to have access to a 3 axis. Also guys as long as it don't cost me for Materials I'll do this for free because I'll get a grade on this and I'd rather build cool stuff for people that need it then sit in class all day cutting threads on a shaft or other BS. So you would only be out Shipping to get the part to you.

Also guys give me a list of stuff that people can use around here that I can make. I.E. buss bars and stuff like that.

  8. Just wanted to let you guys know that I have access to a 3-axis CNC Mill. (Took a Machining class at the college this semester) and if anyone has anything needing made and have the programing for that part or sketch up, let me know and I talked to one of the instructors last night and said that if we have the setup for the part we can use the CNC. Also any thing else that you might need made Metal fabrication wise let me know. I'm in my second year in welding. I just thought I would try and help anyone out that don't have access to any type of Machining or welding equipment that need something build. I'd be more then happy to help out.

One of my projects will be trying to build my own dual alternator bracket for my 04 Tahoe. (I'm waiting on all my Machining tools to come via big brown truck) It will take us three weeks in class before I'll be able to get in the shop to start working.

  9. i heard shipping out of USA was a pain

Shipping out of the US is a PITA! I sold a Parachute (for a drag car) to a guy in Argentina and with customs by the time the guy got the thing it was months after the sales. Of course the guy was mad as a junk yard dog craping tacks and wanted his money back but there was nothing I could do about it, for the item was out of my hands and I showed him where the Chute was and it was shipped. So I would not sell anything out of the US. Just remember that some countries there is duties tax's when a item is shipped across the border that the recipient has to pay for before they can get the item out of customs which is even more money for the buyer out of his pocket.

Good luck on your sales though man.
