I just would like to point out that you cant use 3 GTX 690s in SLI because the GTX 690 is a Dual GPU card thus it already have a 2 way SLI on its own, that beeing said if you have 2 of them its a 4 way SLI if you had 3 of them it would be a 6 way SLI witch is impossible you can use 3 GTX 680s in 3 way SLi tho

actually, you CAN. The problem is, the third card won't be that dramatic of a difference. Knowing him though, if it can be done, he will want it done. I'm almost certain you can do it. If it doesn't work, i will drop back to 2 but right now its looking like 3.
I was certain that you can only have 4 GPU max when during SLI or Crossfire.
I heard that 680's are better then 690's. here is a link - http://www.videocard...h_end_gpus.html
Just my 2 cent
there is no way a 680 is better then a 690. A 690 consists of 2 680's......i don't know who's results those are but they won't be mine. I personally own 2 GTX 580's and its showing the 690 BARELY better then that one. I think not LOL.
It depends on the situation as well. What games you are playing & resolution. You should be fine with 2x 690s 4gb.

Have you checked with the dealers to see what one costs?
yes i have. he said about 115
-
if anyone has one or can tell me where to buy one for a reasonable price let me know
-
It depends, which looks do u like the best?
Do want to buy it thru the internet(fi) or go to a dealer?(aa)
which is better or cheaper?
-
The mayhems can take more you jsut have to be smart about it...either way there both good i know the mayhems are a lil bit more then the BTLS just contact the AA site and see what dealers are closer to where you live.
well i live in GA
-
No problem at all. I hope that you will be satisfied with the purchase you make.
thx man
-
You would more than likely have to contact AA for that because they would have to factor in the location in which the product is to be shipped to.
oo i did not know dat man well man thx man for helping me narrow down which one to choose. u have been a good help thx
-
I have neither now as the BTL's I had purchased used and were damaged by Fedex. If I had the money to purchase again I would be more likely to purchase they Mayhem because of the higher RMS rating and the eye catching looks.
do know the price of those AA Mayhem?
-
I have personally had a set of BTL 12's and loved them. I am sure they Mayhems are great too and there is something about the triple stack on the Mayhem that just catches my eye. Both have a weight of 65 pounds if you are also going to put that into consideration.
yea i was looking at the triple stack it does catch my eye lol. hmm yea thats is heavy haha.. which do u have now?
-
Both are great for spl. They also are quite good on sq. For detailed answers for options included with each woofer it would be best to contact Fi by emailing [email protected] and AA at [email protected].
ight thx man i will do dat.. and btw which one would u choose? to me i thought i would only get the AA if i got the 18's since im geting 12's i might as well go with the fi btl.
-
If you do in fact go with the BTL you have many options as extras. The power handling also on a BTL is 2,000 RMS. If you choose to go with the Mayhem you will have a power handling of 2,500 RMS yet I am not sure what if any options they offer as extras with the Mayhem.
i see so are those the best type in each section
-
Both are in fact the same so either choice would be perfect. Based out of Las Vegas and owned by Scott Atwell they have great customer service and are top quality product. So for choice it would be personal preference to style. Also effecting your choice would be your coil choice and your wattage used.
so if i choose any of them which type should i like AA Mayhem or Fi Btl?
-
I need help on which subs to get i dont want to much bass so not like 18's i think 12's would be great so if you have any input please help me

You should easily be able to fit a 3/4" roundover in your router. Go to your local Lowes or Home Depot and check out the bits. It will explain on the cases about the size of the bits.
ight thx
-
he was saying the shank is 1/4"...roundover size is 1/2"....
ight thx
-
can anybody help me again?
-
x2, or you can test fit a 1/4" drill bit in the shaft to se if it fits. more than likely it is a 1/4".
For ports - the biggest roundover you can get for your router!!! My router will only hold a 1/2" round over, but I set it a little deep and then sand down the notch it leaves. I end up with about a 5/8"-3/4" round over.
You can also add a plate against the inside end of the port and make a round over there. I cut 2 pieces of MDF and make a hole in one the O.D. of the pipe, then the hole the I.D of the pipe in the other with a round over on the edge. Glue them together, attach it to the pipe and you now have a flared port on both ends for very little $$$.
That is what I did to these:
so is the actual size of the roundover bit is going to be 1/4 or is that the shaft on my router and i have a square port or a vent can i use the same method or do i use a up spiral up to cut the square then use a roundover. another thing how can cut square subs out.. u did circles i want mine just like dat but square
-
I have a old router its a craftsman and im going to use but i have no roundover bits or any other kind of bit. does all bit fits even if there not the same brand.
wat size should i use for my ports
-
yeah it does help (if you got it thats is) thanks
yea i did. but that was long time ago so im not sure about now u should check if u pay by paypal or something.
-
thats what i was thinking but i was also worried about the site being lgit
i bought a pandora battery off of here to let u know. if that helps any
