I don't wanna buy something like instollogy that costs like 400-500 bucks!
Something for under 100 bucks. As long as i can access it without internet.
I heard of a program called astrochart by astroflex.
I heard this works very well but i don't know how to purchase it.

First draw a line through the circle
where the line hits the outer circle on the left we will call it A
and the right we will call it B
Now
Take a compass
open it so it is wider then half the line you just drew..
Place the compass on point A and strike a half circle through the line
Place the compass on point B and strike a half circle through the line causing it to cross with the other half circle from point A
Now where the two half circles cross grab a ruler and line up the two cross points (one intersection will be above the line and one will be below) and draw a line....
That line is the diameter...
I'm pretty sure you can get the cross section of that diameter
I get what your saying. I was looking up some stuff about it and i think i see whjat you mean.

There are a lot of ways to find out how to find the middle of the perfect circle.
I have heard more simple ways of doing it and more complicated but more procise ways of finding it.
Please list all your ways that you use to find the middle of a circle the fastest and easiest way still keeping precision.
I was just playing with my jasper jig on my router and really caught my attention.
Another one of those things in life that make you go HMmmmmm!

Ill take it from here
RESPECT YALL!

FOr example,
I have a 12" sub and i wanna cut a perfect circle, where do i put my 1/8" in the jasper with a half inch off to have the sub flush in the box? Also for 10", 15", 18" and speaker sizes if POSSIBLE.
I know its not an everyday thing but if you have the info....it would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks....Should have been more specific.
-
Measure your total outside diameter of your sub and then set your jig 1/2 bigger.
Nice nice.
saved me a lot of thinking
-
Just wanted to know what sizes on the jasper jig you use to cut a perfict circle with a half inch off to make the subwoofer fit in flush with the box.
I am just getting to lazy and don't wanna bother trying to find out.
Thanks
