    I woke up this morning to see a godzilla sized bitch at my door in a brown out fit (UPS). Too dazed from just waking up I forgot what I had ordered and to my surprise the aq3500. It looked great no cosmetic damage I'll get some pics up when I get some new batteries for my camera in a bit. I'll hook up when it stops snowing/raining. So thanks again greg.... My other amp should be here on thursday...

    well just say... what if someone would send it to a custom sub builder? the parts wouldnt cost near what a recone kit from kicker would...

    but the main thing is.. that people say that they can NOT be reconed...

    I am guessing your not getting the answer your looking for by readin your second post. Whom ever said they CANNOT be re-coned is wrong they can, but like everyone is saying in Kickers eyes its not worth it. Its not cost effective to make re-cones on a cheap sub

    11.16 cubes before displacement. about 10.1 cubes after displacement of subs and bracing.

    Any thoughts on this type of port? Not sure exactly how to calculate it since the bottom half of the port is shorter than the top half, but I'm sure I can get it figured out. Or if anyone is willing to help me pm me.

    I'm really delaying my build because I've had so many different ideas on boxes and I want to pick the best one before I start chopping up wood to only find out its not going to work.

    Hmm interesting great minds must think a like. This is how my design looks for my 18s however im going for 13 cubes after sub, and bracing displacement. Cant give you any feed back cuz I barely bought the wood but if I finish first I'll let you know how it goes. Preying for :hairtrick: but still waiting on amps

    Okay so I bought 4 kicker L7 15's and 4 hifonics 1210 bxi's like 3 months ago I was going to build a wall in my girls car. I decided to say fuck kicker and so im selling my shit YES I WILL POST SOME PICS! I hate when people say they have stuff but cant prove it lol sorry off topic. Well I sold my friend 1 15 and 1 amp now I gotta build a box for it I wanted to go with sub up port back. 5.5 cubic ft net with a 64 sq inch port? How does that sound I have NO experience with kickers never used the ones I bought. Ps He has a stock alt and Im doing the big 3 for him and he is using 2 yellow top optimas.He drives a blazer I dont have a pic of it sorry its like the one nofearx drives.

    thanks guys..... Ya I figured it could be the glue but still I wanted to post it and get some expert opinions cuz I dont feel like fucking these subs up that fast. anyway starting my build log for 2 of the btls tomorrow so be on the look out

    So I got just a little worried when i smelled something like burning electrical. It was very faint I mean could barely smell it but still I shut off my system i felt my dust cap and it was barely a little bit warm the sub is brand new I was not playing it at full tilt I just wanted to know if Im being a little paranoid? I set my gain and and bass correctly my amp does not say im clippin nor am is my amp seeing low voltage. Im running whats in my sig except just 1 sub and 1 amp currently til my bags come in... Sorry couldnt turn my system on right now its early and my wife is sleepin.
