  1. Ya I have also had that happen on one of my kinetiks the battery still seems to work fine, but I monitor it a lot just in case something happens. Second like treo said b bars are the easiest route to go with (But expensive) if your going to go with that and are limited on funds look into aluminum I found they work good and are way cheaper than copper. When running multiple batteries to a trunk or cargo space its easiest to run + to + and - to -. When doing this make sure to fuse the 8-12 from the front battery on the power cable and the same on the rear. Some people will say you dont need to add the second fuse to the rear battery, but if you happen to have a short or a cut wire your front fuse will blow; however your back battery will still be live and weld its self to the bus bar. Hope this helps

  2. got you I almost forgot they are shipping my subs. I want to keep the boxes but this is a lil more important than having the box lying around. What was i thinking? Ok this thread can be closed now. lol wasn't thinking at all

If you still decide you need it let me know I still have 4 of the original boxes with the wood crates for the btl 18's I can see how much it cost to send. With the foam surround protectors that came with them

  3. Dude you shoul seriously think about geting A LOT more power for those two. I have 2 512 and i drove them with a 3000w amp (taking into consideration that the 512 has a single coil so i drove those with 1500-1600w give or take), and a friend of mine has a 9512 and is is driving that baby with a z2lv (the dd amp with 10000w) and still won't give in, and another friend has 2 z18 and the atomic 5000 amp doesn't do the job at all, now he is installing 2 Z2 LV.

You can easily put 4 m3's or 2 Z2lv on those.

    :bsflag:

  4. Any GOOD 15" sub AA, FI, DD, DC, ect. dont ask which is better by the way. Amps Sundown, DD, Diablo, AQ, ect which ever amp fits your sub and preference as far as what your wanting to do. You could also go with 12's or 10's instead of a 15. I just thought Id throw something out there for you. Just for the record I have built a box for a 2004 impala and you wont have more than approx 8 cubes for the box once you add the batteries and amps.

  5. That's a tough one... as far as sanctioned comps go, there is usually one in Farmington annually as well as down in Alamagordo. Albuquerque might have one randomly, but the word never gets out. I usually hear about them the next weekend.

Ya im talking to one of my friend who competes and he said there is not usually shows which have street beat so ima just not do street beat and go into the 0-1000 modified class or the 1000-2000 modified class. hopefully pick up a show or 2 by april...
