Two or three 15"s with the right/more airspace then needed, IS better then 18"s that are choked.
Directed to C-Stud
-
I have two 15"s in my truck and I will say that to most, It's more then enough. Now, With that said, I am ready to go bigger, Simply because I have already become so use to them, That it seems like it does not even hit very hard. Of course I know it does from when people who have no/smaller systems get in and are shocked. I would go for two since you are in a smaller vehicle and it should get plenty loud.
-
Oops sorry for quoting you I'm drunk and also if worst comes to worst you open those lights up and pry the orange out
No problem man, I have been that drunk. Just an FYI for everyone, On the 99-02 gmc and chevys you can't open the markers and take the amber out. You can on the gmc headlights but not on either marker. 03+ you can open the heads and markers and take it out. For us older nbs owners we have to buy clears for the markers.
-
I would do just do all clear my boy had these exact ones on his Yukon they were nice as he'll when he would park and leave them on... But in the long run all stock but clear ones would look the best
:shake: I wish I could have just cleared my markers like I did the headlights that way they were really oem. To bad gmc markers are not like the 03+ chevys.
-
IMO I would keep the stocks and get some clear marker lights. I don't think any after market head light looks good on our trucks.
That's why I went with this look,
-
I wish I could go.Money will not permit it.
-
Should look good man. Great color choice. Red is FTW.
-
Looks good man, both the subs/box and truck.
Thanks man. It's such a huge improvement over the old box. Hits harder and lower.
-
Pretty sure this is the right section.
Finally got the blow through down.I only got a few pictures. I will get some better ones tomorrow and some videos soon.
In the last two pictures, I have the old box stuck in the bed.
And of course it's in this.
-
Not bad looking man.
-
Cheap = Replacing alot = Winds up costing more then some good stuff. But I'min for pics. Upload them to photobucket.
-
Clowns. Now not all clowns, Just he happy ones. No one is that happy all the time. I think the happy ones are the real killers.
-
Eh just cuz its not up to what everybody's else doesn't mean anything , its just the fact that ya have Bass. Anyway i understand, i wouldn't show mine if it wazn't clean ether.
But ay is the pic in your Sig from Yesterday? i can't believe we got that much snow here in texas.
It's from about three weeks ago, I'm in ok right now. But we did get a bunch of snow here yesterday and the day before.
With a truck, Just putting some subs in a box looks bad compared to doing it in a car. IMO, It's pretty loud,Cam as always, Does no justice. Amps everything are in clean, Just need to move the subs.
-
Well, The reason I don't show the subs and everything, Is because it is half assed, With them shilling in the back seats folded down. I will get vids of the set up when I finish up. Should be doing a blow through soon. The reason I said busted, IS cause compared to most on here,It's no big deal. As 9000n said, That's Dj Decafs In for the kill and it bangs crazyloud.
-
It's just two 15 inch kicker L5s on a 1000/1 JL for now. Need to get a new amp IMO.
-
You could try some of those hydraulic arms, Maybe they would hold it tighter.
-
Yes but the lower case L might look like a 1 to some.
Hmm. Did not even see that I put a lower case. i guees that shift button does not work. Sorry about that guy's.
-
I believe he means he has 2 15" Kicker L5's.
That's what it say's in the title.
-
I hate when people say that
Us amps xt4000de
Audioque 2200d (over kill but never hurts to have more then enough power)
Do you want me to lie and say I am worried about the price??
Amp for two 15 inch l5sWhat brand, what are they going in, box???
Which brand amp? Does not really mateer. They are in a superbass box right now, I will be have a blow through done soon.
do you even have them on you?Yeah I am using them right now.
what size are they? 8s, 10s, 12s, or 15s?15 inch, Just like the title say's.
-
you wanna say, or they are dual 4's...very important, as well as a needed budget.
They are 4ohms. Budget is not to much of a problem.
-
What would be the best amp for two l5s? I wanna say they are dual vc and 4ohms.
-
repost, but very loud
Oh sorry, I guess I did not see it.
-
Hey guy's, I'm new here and just thought I would throw this track out here.Boston Acoustics Bass Test CD - Woofer Cooker It's a pretty hard hitting song, Atleast on my system. Hope ya'll enjoy. It should be easy to find.
