  2. Just kinda curious if anyone here plays darts you know the fun lil bar game with the mini arrows that you throw. let me know what kind you have. Whats your average marks per round in cricket and average points per dart in '01 games?

So here is my list of dart: Target precision p001so 16gm, laserdarts blackwidows 16gm, viper pitbull 16gm, 2 old sets of brass darts i forget the brand of them, and 1 set that i made in machine school had to make them outta mild steel so they are really just decorations or show pieces. I Also have an old merit super 6 plus 2 arcade style dart board, a viper soft tip board, and them some cheap dartronix soft tip board.

As for my averages, in cricket about a 2.5 marks per round and for '01 games aver. somewhere in the low 20's.

  3. see if you can sell your store credit to someone and go to woofersetc.com and get this HU

What up guys. I've got $220 store credit. I'm willing put put down some more for the right one. Maybe considerably more for the really right one??? Idk yet.

Single DIN, or double. Could use either. Maybe a double DIN touch screen. Something that nice I would just keep in the box till my next car with more security. Next car shouldn't be too far down the road.

Throw out some of your favs.

  5. I definately think i am going to this school yeah I am not expecting to make 50k/yr with only 6 months training but i am hoping to make between 30k and 35k. I went to a similar school for machining but it was a free schooling. but in my area all the machine shops are on lay off right now even hard to get a job if you have 5 or more yrs experience in machining around here so i am thinking this would be a decent somewhat cheap education not that 13 grand isn t alot but compared to other schooling it is cheap. and i feel the more certificates and education i have the better I will be in the long run. thanks for the input guys.

The IT job pool is getting thinner and the IT employment pool is getting deeper, too many qualified experienced people and not enough high paying jobs out there. I started out doing Network Administration and have switch to more of an RF engineering position due to job market. With all the cutbacks with the bigger companies your seeing more and more over qualified IT and IS people working in call centers and help desk positions. Entry level positions are becoming less applicable because there are plenty of 3-5+ experienced people with certificates and degrees looking for jobs. If your serious about getting in the IT, IS, or programing world right now and want the best bang for your buck, Do your own research online, study up as much as you can on a particular exam, then go to whats called a boot camp. Its basically a 2 day to 2 week cram class, and at the end you get to take the exam if you pass your certified if not you get a re-try. Here is a quick one I found http://www.intenseschool.com/schedules, but by all means do your own research.... Depending on your learning preference you can take online classes but if your very new you'd want to go to the class and have the ability to get hands on training and ask as many questions as you can.
  6. they give you 4 test vouchers, so you have 4 chances to pass these each of these tests 1 time or you could use all 4 vouchers on 1 test if you need to, but the exams they prep you for are the MCTS Windows vista,Active directory, network infrastructure, and then finally the final exam is the MCITP server admin. So i guess it is possible to walk out of that school with those 4 certificates. they also give you a MS textbookl, MS lab manual, MS software(so your computer runs exactly like the 1s at the school or at least the same programs), then also finally selftesting software i guess same as practice tests. They also claim n average starting salary range between 30k and 40k per year. The school cost $13,500 it seems like alot of money but i was looking online for these practice tests and they cost about 70-80 bucks a piece, and the actual exam is about 200-400 bucks, So it looks like you get close to 1,000 bucks in just exams not including the practice test. Then the MS text book and lab manual are probably another 400 bucks, and microsoft software could run a grand or more retail value anyways. So this is just my guess is that your paying about 9k-10k for the education - the supplies.

  7. I am just wondering if anyone here went to this school it is actually called computertraining.edu? They have a school in the pittsburgh area near where i live and i am thinkin about going to this school. That is also the name of their website. So if anyone here went to this school and actually completed it let me know how you like your job and was the school helpful with finding work? I found alot of people online that badmouth the school on blogs but most of the people either didn't go to the school or didn t complete the school or just mad at the school cause they didn t get a 50k/yr job right outta school.

  8. check out these components if your open to ideas.

I have a set of MB Quart discus 5.25" and have had them for about 9 years and they still sound good.

but really i don t think you can go wrong on any set of components that are selling for 300 price range or more after all you get what you pay for.

  9. Hey I am just kinda curious why you can't build your own box. Is it cause you lack a table saw, maybe just not that good with power tools,or don't have power tools? If it is cause you don t have a table saw don't threat that part find yourself a small local lumberyard that has a table saw not home depot or lowes they only have those big saws that stand the board on it s side and it doesn t have a ripping fence and none of the cuts come out the same(trust me). Or if you don't have power tools my local home depot has a lil set of 18v ryobi tools for like 130 bucks i think you get a drill, circular saw, flashlight and vacuum the set i got was i think a 5 or 6 piece set and it came with 2 batteries and 1 charger. so i am not sure how many batteries that set comes with. So anyways my point is get a few tools if you don t have any and buy a couple sheets of MDF and play around with it some that way you can have a true custom box that you made yourself and fits alot better in your car and you can also be proud of it cause you made it.

PS alot of lumber yards charge between $.50-$1.00/cut after your first 2 cuts so make sure you get your exact sizes. I got my MDF cut for free cause i went to HS with the guy that runs the lumber yard.

  10. PS the reason i didn t use any braces is because it is a 12 in woofer that only requires .9 cubic feet so there really isn t any room for braces.

well the box is almost complete I just put the back side of the box on today and just put 1 layer of fiberglass on it through the speaker hole. When I am done there will be 3 layers of fiberglass total. The only problem i did have is there are a few air pockets is what i want to call them maybe while it was drying it bubbled up some and i am guessing there is no way to get rid of them besides sanding and reglassing it also guessing they won t do any harm either.

  12. I am only using the fiberglass for a lil extra support I current have an old RF hx2 12 that handles 500 watts rms and it flexes the hell out of the particle board that i used for that box. I just got a PPI pro 124 that can handle 1000 watts rms, with this box i am using 3/4 MDF instead of particle board. I just want to be safe then sorry so i don t have to rip it out and redo everything. maybe 1 more layer though I have 2 done right now as we talk time to start the 3 layer.

    thanks

PS i don t have alot of experience with fiberglass either I have made a quite a few boxes before just never 1 that could handle this much power.

A sealed box? I wouldnt even bother fiberglassing a sealed box
