  1. Holy crap dude! that moves so much fucking air. And in the one vid, is that jibble box a slowed version?

thanks man! it is jiggle box, but it's not actually slowed down all that much, it's been re-worked by LMproductions for Ian Pinder (Team Ice UK) but considering our cars both peak similar it's perfect for the charade...

    here's the clip for you

and for anyone who can't see the embedded vid....

  2. i'm guessing you killed the two subs that are closest to the port?

actually no, the two bottom/front subs, or more specifically, just the one on (your) drivers side, when it was screwed in one of the screws pinched the surround, under a heavy loud the surround lifted and shorted the coil HARD, which took out the amp, which in turn took the other sub out with it!

but i swapped the DCWs from the top to the bottom, and mounted the Beastmasters up top as the DCWs are some 5 years old, and well used, while the beastmasters are new old stock, and never seen power, i figured with the added stiffness, they would work well being closer to the ports, and so far it's done well...

goood shit men ... i guess no need for AC for the car :D

hahaha just turn it up!! tho makes beating on a cold night HORRIBLE lol

  3. WTF???? dude that thing it´s crazy!!! 6 Cadence Beastmasters right???? that thing looks violent as hell!!!

actually it's 2x Beastmasters and 4x DCWs... but they're identical woofers, the dustcap and year of release are the only differences, both share the same t/s specs and build etc,

i originally had all DCWs but killed 2, and had the 6x Beastmasters here from another build, so just swapped them around, but i can't actually fit down the port to remove the rear most 2 woofers, and a big guy, and the ports only 10" wide lol, my mate on this build is a skinny little guy so we'll swap out the woofers once we have time, just been a little slack lol

  4. well i figured i'd post up a couple of recent videos demo-ing the charade!

155db on a slowed version of "whitegirl" while floating a hi visibility vest in my window...?

floating a can in the side window?

and pulling the beenie off my mates head!

let us know what you all think!

and here's a quick link to my Build log here

  5. given that from the pics, the sub only has a single set of tinsil leads, i think it's safe to assume it's not a quad coiled, add to the fact that the OP clearly states it's dual 4s...

audiobahn used to run similar terminals as well as several others, they are there purely to help you wire them in parallel, anyone who's tried to stuff 2 runs of decent sized cable into the single terminal will attest to it not being fun...

so basically you run you positive from the amp, into the positive on one side, then from the 2nd postive terminal on that side, into the opposite sides positive... then repeat for negative... at the end you should be left with 1 pos, and 1neg input on the sub empty...

this is assuming your wiring in parallel for a 2ohm load...

  6. maybe something like This Build but i want it more accurate. so not building the box to large and

and what would u guys tune a daily driver wall to? just read that his ^^^^ sealed box hit lows better but the ported was louder

i'd just like to point out that thins build was not actually sealed, but a 4th order diamond build...

    running 4 x Mach5 IXL18's and a epsilon 5000d surfboard...

    it did 151db @ 32hz

RAD the owner is also a member on here and is currently waiting on subs to finish his latest build of 24x 12"s in a diamond wall...

a full build log for the hyundai can be found HERE

    alohaz braddaj

    welcome aboard!

i too am a n00b on this board, but some of the aus members here may know me from the Mobile Electroncs Australia forum, i've made a few posts here, but i figure i should post up my "hellos"!

    so... HELLO!

    i'm from melbourne australia,

my daily driver is my 1984 toyota corona wagon, 4x 15"s that playing into the high 140s, should break that magical 150 any day now, oh and thats all @ 30hz, even burped a 127 @ 5hz demoing at comps

my project atm is an G100 diahatsu charade with 12x 10"s which still needs ALOT of work, but so far has pulled out a 147.8 @ 50hz and 147.3 @ 30hz...

i've posted some up videos of both cars in the videos section, some of you liked the charade so no doubt i'll have a builg log up soon enough! lol

    thanks guys!

  8. well seeing as tho you guys seemed to like my charade with the 12x 10"s clamshell wall, i figured i'd show you my daily...

i've posted a vid up here before of it with the old earthquake set up, but things have changed!

running 4x cadence beastmaster 15"s in 2 seperate 8cf boxes,

running off a single USaudio bonecrusher (basically a fusion 4000d) @ .5ohm... so around the 6kw mark on a good day...

so far it regularly does 148.7db SS3-4 and 148.3db street max DBdrag legal, and in testing i've seen mid 149s with all doors/roof braced, thats all at 42hz... but it's only loses .7db at 30hz...

i've even burped it at 5hz and scored 128db on termlab SS3-4 legal... it peaks at 42hz but LOVES the lows

    anyways, here's a few vids

    a bit of flex

    and a video from bobo333

sound isn't great and it was pretty average weather that day, should get some better vids come summer...

    anyways hope you guys like!

  9. I wanna see your buildlog NOW! :D Gonna run a similar setup as well, so I could use some inspiration from you. Got any numbers on it yet?

    thanks buddy!

at the moment, it's running 147.3db @ 30hz and 147.8db @ 50hz, DBdrag official, still needs ALOT more work and i didn't want to push it, the baffles aren't even sealed to the box yet... so theres ALOT more left in it yet,

also should be added that was at 2ohm per amp, so about 400rms per sub... once everything is sorted we'll drop it down to .5ohm and see how it goes...

the main goal behind the build was to have a VERY musical, almost "sq" build that happily plays into the mid 150s, so thats my goal!

  10. Flexing like crazy I like lol

man thats not flex... my TOW CAR flexes more than this... lol this still moves quite a bit tho :P

Thats awesome. How in the hell are you powering all that. Do they even make a high output alt for that? By the way no offense but the title of this thread makes me  .

that was all car off... just off the batts, which i'm currently running fullriver spl70s, only 2 atm, but got a "few" more on their way...

and which part in specific? gotta have something to try and draw peoples attention to the video! lol

    Build log please..... clapping.gif

i think i might have to chuck one up... lol

anyone want a vid of my tow wagon?

    4x 15"s on 6kw?

    a "little" bit of flex...
