  1. Sup bro, a year or so back I had my T1 comps installed in my truck and I decided to check them out last week. First, I'm all for DYI, but when it something new, I go to the "pros". I look at the mid-basses and they are held in by one screw and sound deadener to hold in place/cover the gaping holes. They also lost a lot of my shit that was in the boxes. I remember you saying you had old RF stuff setting around. I'm wondering if you have any of the black, i believe, sheet metal screws with the hex-bit ends that came with component sets? I need 8. I found the adapters and I'm going to use those to install them the right way. I believe it may also sound better. I know I could probably go to Lowes and buy some, but if you have some taking up space, I would greatly appreciate them.

  2. I've been wanting some west coast rap for sometime now. I'm interested in Keak Da Sneak. In one of Steve's old vids, he had some of his stuff playing in the background. I did a little research and his works stretch back. What is his best album or which one's would be good picks?

  3. If you dont care about sound quality, use winamp. I use windows media player because it sounds better than any player ive ever used.

i thought the file kbps was what determined sound quality

p.s. is there a good free audio format converter i was using dbpower and i loved it but my trial ran out

Somewhat true, but different media players have different ways of processing data. Play a song in WMP and Real player and they sound different..or at least to me. Real player sounds loud. My bro has a MAC and itune has all types of sound enhancements. For smoothest, most natural sound, I use WMP.

  4. I'm all for self-defense, but that is ridiculous. I would not conceal something that could blow off a limb.

I don't care what it does to the other guy, I've heard stories of short barreled .44's breaking the shooters wrist and people smacking them self in the face with it. I'd still try it one handed if I owned it though

My old man has a .357 with a long barrel and it kicks like a mule. Couldn't imagine that.

  5. Heard good and bad on the crescendos. I think I may do two 6.5s in my front doors.

^^ This. I've heard a lot of good, some bad, but for $99 for a pair, you can't beat it. If you're looking for SQ and find something that provides that + a higher SPL, then go with that. For loudness & clarity, I'd say go with two sets of the Crescendo's.

My buddy got some and they are loud as crap and sound decent, but I don't think they have the smoothness of my RF T1s.
