I believe it's the t1000's. Similar to the Epic's from what I've read.
-
ok, gonna go try. thanks

I'm taking apart my hifonics hfi12 and the screws holding the motor to the frame are glued...how can I get them out?
-
That isn't a t-line, its a l ported box tuned to 28 hz. If you watch the rest of the video you would see he is selling his t-line for 2 8's not the box for the 4 8's

This would make more sense if Stonehenge was in Ireland and not England... lol nice try tho
Yeah I know, but I had always heard that pre-Roman invasion England was heavily influenced by Gaelic/Irish culture, especially on the western coast. Just trying to make a funny
-
I would think there would be more bassheads among your Gaelic folk, especially considering Stonehenge is one of the earliest structures with intentional bass amplifying characteristics.
-
Do you mean build it from scratch or from parts?
I'd like to try my hand at designing/building one from the ground up, but I imagine that's out of my price range lol. So I was thinking that I would build a "hybrid" driver from various parts.
...Lol.
That is a pretty awesome speaker though.

unless things have changed since 05, i'm guessing your going to have to have mentor and log your hours and such right?
Indeed.

Ok, so as the title says I'd like to build a subwoofer for my senior project. I wanted to know if yall knew of any good sites, books, etc. that I could read up on. And if there was any people in eastern NC that could "mentor" me.
-
Damn, I didn't know there were so many bassheads in eastern NC...haha

Akala and Flobots is what I'm listening to right now.

Yall have any suggestions? I was looking at the Crescendo comp's, but wanted yall's opinion.

Can you post a link? On my phone
-
Would you be willing to sell seperatly?

I've heard that with a good front stage, a rear stage becomes obselete and may even hurt your SQ. Is this true? Can you get a good ''atmospheric'' sound from just a front stage?

It seems like every demo I see, the demoer never smiles. Almost looks angry, lol. When I demo my little system I'm grinning ear to ear haha. Is it cause mine isn't loud and I'm not uncomfartable?

Sweet thanks brah!
Waiting for a reply from fritos on some possible tips, hehe

hahahaha dude, go to bed bro!!! Maybe you should set a termlab on your cat and make him burp, start a new topic on the member´s buid show off, "my 3 years old cat burping a 140 dbs @ 22 hz with a flat respond all the way to 44 hz" hahahaha
Lol!

For that amount of power i would use 1.5 cubic feet and 24 SQ of port with a 35 hz tuning if you are looking to pound the lows, the FS of the sub it´s very low so it should pound nice on those frequencies, and i would do it that size because you have a good power for it, but the sub sensitive it´s kind of low so maybe you´ll need a little bit bigger box than usual 10´s , once again. i´ve never played with that sub so maybe i´m wrong!!
TC Sounds recommends .5-.6 ft^3 for a ported box, but I just can't seem to make it work...got a while before the woofer will be here so, I got sometime to fidget haha.
Glued Screws :(

Guess I'll have to grab me one next pay day. I ended up having to drill out two of the screws, but now I have metal shavings in the gap. Any suggestions on how to get them out?
