I thought i was the only person that noticed that, Fedex does not care at all

Same here I have wonderful local ups, The main worker knows me and my audio, and if im not home, he will come to my job and he will put it in my vehicle and locks it back up to make sure no one takes it

Thos shows the front view, right before you get to the port there is where the 8 inch split starts, i wish i had better pics, the others are on my better camera. I am holding this part in place if i was to let go, it would sink down 4 inches

Here is a little picture of a bad part of the damage, it cracks here and runs 8 inches up the top of the box, 14 inches across, severe carpet damage. I could seriously take the whole part off

Another thing that pisses me off is, normally when you get something from ups, fedex, etc. they set it on your porch, It looks like a giant shotputted it in the middle of my yard prolly 20 feet away from my door

I prolly wont get my new box for a month, right now im just waiting for them to pick it up, and ship it off so i can get a new one

Right, It honestly looked like someone took a sledgehammer to it. Im still pissed about it....

Thanks guys, i really did wanna cry i told the company that built it for me and they were asking how bad it was and i sent pictures, and they immediately said file a claim and we will build you a brand new one. So I Contacted fedex and filed a claim, and i think sometime they are gonna finish processing the claim and send someone out here to look at it and ship it back off, they are paying for the shipping, damages, and my new box. Does anyone know how long it takes to process a claim??

Alright so as i put in my build log, im getting rid of my prefab set at 42hz and getting a custom box tuned to 34hz well. Its been 7 to 8 days without Bass, and today yesterday the day i was waiting for, i get up 9 o clock in the morning my box has arrived and is sitting outside. So i gently take it out of the boxes and the Wrap, and WHAT IS THIS??? FEDEX TOTALLY DESTROYED IT. The front sub mounts have a huge crack in it, that split the wood probably 14 inches across, if i push it i could take a whole piece out of it. It was an awesome box that was carpeted and paint matched with the car. And to think fedex probably bodyslammed it against the truck

It irritates me when i help someone install their setup and they keep trying to bridge their system. I tell them use correct impedance and what is the answer i get "It's louder this way" and they tell me this after is sounds crappy. I just dont get it, if someone says turn the gain down is it that damn hard 2 quit turning a damn knob??

Alright guys this post is for you to get things off your mind that pisses you off. What stuff irritates you, for example i've been helping this guy with his system for 2 weeks now, I finished it the first day and he kept on changing the layout. The thing that irritates me the most is one of his sub-woofers made a distortion sound like the cone was gonna explode and he asked me what it was, i simply changed his gain and set it properly and problem solved. So the next day i get a call and he says that one of the subs blew, and i was like let me look at it. He had amp gain all the way up, headunit eq all the way up, a 250 amp anl fuse on 6 ga wire, and he had a 6 ga power and a 8 ga ground. So i was like what the hell did you do and he said it was louder this way. Sorry for the long post but stuff like this makes me wanna jump into the middle of the highway cause its stupid.

Very True, my db electrical was 239 and lasted me 2 months, this one is 400 and has amazing results, never go cheap on an alternator. I've heard good things about irragi and even meade runs them, so i think either one would be a great choice

If you plan on running 2-3k go ahead and get the 220, that way for now and future installs you will have a bigger alt that will supply sufficient and more than sufficient power needed

150 is nice, but i would recommend getting the biggest for now and future installs.
