    Damn, that does suck!! It really sucks when you are waiting for something and Fed-Ex fucks it up like that. When my amp was delivered it looked like the box had been dropped down a flight of stairs but the packing on the amp protected it and it still worked. I'm kind of worried now because I ordered an Fi Q15 that will be here on Friday. Hopefully UPS does a better job. Good luck with your claim. Hopefully they will do a better job delivering it next time.

    Ups is way better, I wish they would have delivered my box

    got a fedex story for ya to cheer you up I drive truck for a livin I haul milk from the dairies locally and take it to creameries well I was at this creamery waitin to unload and the scale where you weigh the truck has two large concrete blocks on either side of it as you pull off well this fedex driver decided to use the scale to go around some trucks that were blockin it from leaving the plant and turned to sharp and clipped one of the concrete blocks with the rear tire it freakin ripped the axle part of the way out and damned near tossed the driver out there door I laughed my ass off the freakin trucks ass got major air should have seen the stunned look on the drivers face when he came out of the truck to check his shorts and the damage :rofl:

    Thanks guys, i really did wanna cry i told the company that built it for me and they were asking how bad it was and i sent pictures, and they immediately said file a claim and we will build you a brand new one. So I Contacted fedex and filed a claim, and i think sometime they are gonna finish processing the claim and send someone out here to look at it and ship it back off, they are paying for the shipping, damages, and my new box. Does anyone know how long it takes to process a claim??

    Alright so as i put in my build log, im getting rid of my prefab set at 42hz and getting a custom box tuned to 34hz well. Its been 7 to 8 days without Bass, and today yesterday the day i was waiting for, i get up 9 o clock in the morning my box has arrived and is sitting outside. So i gently take it out of the boxes and the Wrap, and WHAT IS THIS??? FEDEX TOTALLY DESTROYED IT. The front sub mounts have a huge crack in it, that split the wood probably 14 inches across, if i push it i could take a whole piece out of it. It was an awesome box that was carpeted and paint matched with the car. And to think fedex probably bodyslammed it against the truck :angry:

    Alright guys this post is for you to get things off your mind that pisses you off. What stuff irritates you, for example i've been helping this guy with his system for 2 weeks now, I finished it the first day and he kept on changing the layout. The thing that irritates me the most is one of his sub-woofers made a distortion sound like the cone was gonna explode and he asked me what it was, i simply changed his gain and set it properly and problem solved. So the next day i get a call and he says that one of the subs blew, and i was like let me look at it. He had amp gain all the way up, headunit eq all the way up, a 250 amp anl fuse on 6 ga wire, and he had a 6 ga power and a 8 ga ground. So i was like what the hell did you do and he said it was louder this way. :nea:

    Sorry for the long post but stuff like this makes me wanna jump into the middle of the highway cause its stupid.

    I was thinking on buying an Iraggi, but Tennessee still under water and i need it VERY soon, i looked at this alts before but they are very expensive for me, well i guess you get what you pay right??

    Very True, my db electrical was 239 and lasted me 2 months, this one is 400 and has amazing results, never go cheap on an alternator. I've heard good things about irragi and even meade runs them, so i think either one would be a great choice

    yeah a 150 amp and a good audio battery and im set. the most im going to ever run is 2k-3k but that is going to be later on. im only running 1500w tops.

    If you plan on running 2-3k go ahead and get the 220, that way for now and future installs you will have a bigger alt that will supply sufficient and more than sufficient power needed

    The Alt Ran me 400 Even, Best Alt I've Ever Had Runs Cooler and Its A Direct Replacement Large case or it can replace a small case

    Alright so 4 months ago my stock alt went out on me, and i replaced it with a Db Electrical 2200 at 1200 rpm and 110 at idle. Well it messed up on me twice in 2 months and it did not do rated at all so i said forget it, it cost more for shipping than the actual alt. So after that i was like forget it im not going cheap anymore so i went with mechman Alternators. They had a 270 and 165-or 170 at idle large case alt for my car. So i ordered one and in 2 to 3 days it was on my front porch. I installed it and i got amazing results, The first test was I turned on my AC, Volume 29 out of 33, Bass on, the voltage went from 14.8 to 14.7 at IDLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if i rev it it doesn't move at all, Thanks Matt and Mechman for a great alt. My advice to everyone never go cheap on a alternator

    edit: btw i also hooked up another amp and those results above was with 3000 watts and with a stock everstart battery
