seems fine to me. go for it
Alright man, And it would be fine to run the engine block ground to the chassis ground and run a single wire to the batt right
-
In The pics there is a small piece of metal attached to the engine block and its really shiny under the bolt, would it hurt if my terminal was on top of a piece of metal?
-
a little hard to tell from the picture but just grind iy down make it nice and shiny and you should be good tro go.i used my factory engine block ground even thoug it was a bi**h to get to
Yeah mine is super hard to get to also, it looks like my factory one was on the bottom of the damn engine (Damn Pontiac)
-
ALright so It's been pretty cold lately, and today has been the warmest so i decided to start the big 3, the chassis to batt and alt to batt are all good. I was wondering if this engine ground to chassis spot would work
It's that silver bolt that you see, there is a piece of metal under the bolt, but the bolt leads directly into the engine, Its right by the engine block
Here's he bolt unfastened a little

How much would i need for a midsize trunk lid, top, sides, and bottom, how many layers?
-
I Already know about second skin, and a guy told me that if i was doing my trunk don't buy any of the second skin except for damplifier pro, but that looks a bit bulky to fit in the ridges
-
Good for fitting edges??
-
Does it stop rattles, and good for the price
-
Anybody currently or have used Hushmat, Stinger Expert Roadkill, Or Dynamat??
-
Thanks ima have to try something, im not really wanting to remove it
-
Alright not that long ago i was testing my new amp, and the subs on a couple songs on the Fosgate Volume cd, And the next thing I know when i get out is a pretty loud rattling noise, so i go towards the spoiler and on the left side there is a crack that runs across the bottom of the base So now im wondering, if i line the lid and the whole trunk with Damplifier Pro will this get rid of the rattle and keep the spoiler from breaking anymore, or will i have to get it painted again and use bondo to repair it??
-
DD is rating there amps at 11.9 so thats kinda realistic of the power you'll see from them.
They really rate them at 11.9??, Dang having full power on 11.9 sounds so much better than full power at 14.4 and 18% efficiency drops for every one volt. How would you compare the DD Amps to Hifonics, Are DD Amps Good??, I know that the subs are a very good product, i'm just not to familiar with the amps
-
edit: try to run your car and your system off just an alt for a week and see what happens
really? i never heard of this, thats cool as hell. any chance i can get a link?
x2

11 is really not that bad??
-
Alright so i've been wondering lately about different kinds of amps and how much power they take from a cars electrical. At idle with stock alternator, stock battery, and no big 3 my voltage hits the low 11's (Don't worry all will be fixed soon ) with my Hifonics Brutus BXI 2010D. I've Also heard that alot more people with Irragi Alts, and Yellow-tops have a hard time feeding power to the Hifonics Brutus 2610D. Are these amps just too hard to feed high electrical to??
-
I am not sure about anybody else but I've seen a Rockford Fosgate 1.0 Farad for sale in a best buy store about 87 miles from where i live, and they waned 179.99 for it, If you can get it for 10 bucks, then jump on that, The thing is if you are looking for the cap to act as a battery lets say a kinetic 600 then you will be disappointed, but i have had experiences and i know many other that have, and they do seem to help stable the voltage drops, before mine would drop more and on certain notes it would be a ridiculous drop, with a cap its help stable it to where the certain notes dont drop as bad. Like I said my personal experience (10 Bucks is still a good buy tho)

whats the big deal? 147.4 for 4 12" subs off a 4000.1 in a gutted out little car isnt that good of a score. especialy since he was probably on peak hold so it only touched that number. average is probably 146.x.
I Never said it was a big deal, my point is that people say sony xplod's suck and cannot get loud, and all im saying is that for under 200 he's doing something right

Got a warning for loud music at 3:30 in the afternoon FUCK THAT
Good Engine Ground?? *(WITH PICS)*
