Also some people has 2 stock ground wires, and 1 stock positive positive wires going into there adapters, well i have 2 of both ahhhh
-
Alright So I bought a lot of parts and wire for the big three, and i am getting a 230 amp alt, so i decided to go and do the big three so that when my alt gets here all i have to do is install it. Well the big three on my car is so freakin difficult. 1 it's a side mount, 2 the stock wires are so freakin short, i dont think i can even cut the old adapter off and put my new stinger side mount adapter on because the wires are so short. There are the wires going into the adapter, then there is a positive and a ground that run towards the windshield (fuse box maybe). So right now im just in I HATE MY LIFE mode until i can figure out what to do, if anybody has ideas please help. The reason i want a bigger alt and the big 3 is because the stock wiring on it is like 8 gauge or 10 maybe. and there is barely any space to cut the wires or put the terminals on or anything there is a big piece that runs to the air filter right by the battery. Any ideas, advice, or information would be appreciated please.
This isn't mine but here is a pic of under the hood

whats the best style hide away box to still get good sq but get loud as well? im getting a e8 that im going to be putting in my 98 explorer running 250 rms to it wondering if anyone has any ideas
You could probably use the same concept as the jl audio stealth boxes. i have heard a few and they get nice sq and loud. you could build one yourself using different specs, and it should come out nice

keg wouldnt be bad metal trash can would rattle to much prob need some deadner would be cool man mill top out or side for a 12 or so haha
Yeah they were testing deadner
-
I Saw something like this in a best buy store a couple of towns away, they made a metal trash can into an enclosure
-
yeah i would try the ground, make sure you sand it really good, and if it's in the trunk pick a nice location. i had a friend that had the same problem cause he grounded it to the seat frame, but when we moved it to the wheel well and he got a solid connection it was gone

Dang i know how that stuff feels man

Cowboys over Eagles
Packers over Cardinals
Cowboys over Vikings
Packers over Saints
Cowboys over Packers
Don't really know the AFC but i'm sure it will end up being Colts vs Chargers, would throw Patriot's in but they just lost there 123 rec receiver by the name of Welker lol.
Vikings Will Smash The Cowboys

Depends on the size of the trunk and if you'd like more layers, I would say get the highest line of damplifier that you can get on your budget. I got 2 door packs and a bulk pack in my car of damplifier pro..it handled the trunk, the floor and the doors.
The trunk is midsize, not too big, not too small
-
Alright so im working on a install and i wanna know which second skin product to choose, would damplifier lite be enough, or would i have to get damplifier, would 20 sq feet be enough for trunk lid and trunk or 40 sq feet

if i can get 2 runs of 0, 6 rca's, and 12 speakers worth or speaker line to tuck under a toyota carpet, im sure you can get a run of 0 under your carpet
like it was said before, going under the car is if you're doing an obscene amount of runs, or if going through the car isnt possible. I'd go under as a last resort, and in the dozens of installs i've done, i've never had to resort to that.

I have more than 0 lol, i was just making a point that it was pretty safe, wasn't speaking on size and number of cables

That looks exactly like steves, it has his removable port, and if you can see it looks like 4 RE Audio 18's In There

I've Ran Mine Inside, Along the sides under the carpet, and ive never had any trouble with it, and it's pretty thick cable
