  1. Well do you think it would be worth it to get a 3000 Watt Amp or stick with the 2000 Watt Amp? He's selling the whole setup (sub box amp battery) for only $600 and as long as nothing is wrong with it, that's a damn good deal. Could you link me to a good 3k watt amp that I would be able to purchase online? Once I sell my Alpines, I'll have over $450 to spend on an amp.

I Hear everyone is buying up the Crescendo 3k's right now, they are like 550 dollars, and do and are warrantied at .5 ohms

  2. What if a crook had a graBit  ......... Just Sayin. You know its a good idea but its pointless in today's technologies. Think about this, A guy gets tired of his trunk getting broke into so he welds it shut. Some hardcore crook actually has a Cutting torch mounted to his truck. Then cuts the trunk open to get it. People dont realize it but that could actually happen.

  3. Never heard the Pheonix gold, but other than sixdogs1, i knew a guy that lived 30 minutes away from me, and i used to think he had 2 15's or something, the way it sounded outside of the car and inside was pretty loud for one 12". I used to think ALL lanzar subs were a piece of crap but not the Optidrives until i saw them in work

Also remember this any sub can get loud. It has to be in the right setup/Enclosure is key

  4. ya i know right now it looks easy but i jump in my car look at the subs and then the enclosure and im like o shit lol i just get mixed up and second guess myself just another noob trying to learn the rights and wrongs you know

you can double them up where ever you want. Just as long as the final impedance is 1 ohm. the first sub and second should be doubled up if you are following the diagram

  5. Alright man. you have 2 sets of terminals on each set of the subs right. Hook them up + to + on one sub. And - to - to another sub.then take another wire and then hook its + and - up to the sub and connect it the same way to the other subs wires. Then just plug in to the Amp for a 1 ohm load

  6. my car never drops below 10volts

10 Volts?? Thats LOW!!!Thats maybe why your deck is turning off. When i had a bad alt and the stator went faulty it would stay at 10.8 and the radio would keep turning on and off

edit: I wanna rephrase this, certain cars. I do have a buddy that gets down to 10.1 and his deck stays on and the whole system, but most of the time if your volts gets around 9 or 10 it will shut off

  7. lol
