  1. if you added woofers to the same amplifier, you changed the ohm load. which in turn can cause you to lose power if you wire it all fucked up, or even normally. dont touch bassboost (keep on 0/off) and follow that picture guide.

ok so how do i determine the watts by the amp or by the subwoofers in total. i have it wired at a 2.67ohm load to a 2 channel amp rated at 1080rms bridged, the subs are 800rms but overrated more like 600rms or 400rms.

  2. my problem is that my amp is not 1 ohm stable and i have 2 dual 2 ohm alpine type r's. i was talking to a guy on you tube and he said that i could parrallel the subs dual voice coils,i then get two 1 ohm subs, the i wire the subs in series(ohms add up) equalling a 2 ohm load at the amp terminals. my question is does anyone have a diagram that can show m how to do this or even explain where to put the wires? if so that would be great. thx

  4. Has anyone dealt with the dealer that sells these precut tint kits?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pontiac-Grand-Prix-4dr-94-95-96-Precut-Window-Tint_W0QQitemZ220412742246QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item33519f8a66#ht_4724wt_792

I might be interested in getting some 20% for my car but I want to get the best stuff I can for the money (around $30?)

I BOUGHT MINE FOR MY F150, ITS GOOD TINT BUT THERES A CATCH TO, WHEN REMOVING THE FILM IT HAS STATIC WHICH WILL STICK TO ANYTHING AND RUINNING THE FILM. SO ITS MORE OF A 2PERSON JOB FOR THAT PRECUT TINT. ALSO YOULL NEED A WINDOW TINT KIT WHERE YOU CAN BUY IT AT WALMART ITS A BLACKMAGIC TINT KIT. 12 BUCKS

  5. Which would you go for and why?

    One 18" Solo X ported (lets say 7cft @33hz).

Four 12" subs SEALED. (something decent)

Six 12" subs SEALED. (cheaper options like MTX road thunder stuff)

Assuming all options get the same power! (2000 w rms)

    Peace

EVENTHOUGH YOU'LL HAVE MORE SUBS ON THERE THEY WOULDNT GET THE LOWS AS A 18 SOLO-X WOULD, AND WITH ONE SUB THERE IS NOT MUCH HASSLE IN WIRING AND ENCLOSURE

  6. Does this look like a decent designed box? It's 3.99 cubes per side tuned to 29.22 hz using expos calculator. It will basically be a blow through from trunk into cabin of car. Port forward, subs facing each other.

YOU PROBABLY USE INVENTOR TO DO THIS DESIGN, I DID MY BOX ON INVENTOR TOO, FOR YOUR LAYOUT SHEET YOU MAY WANT TO USE A D-SIZE SHEET SO YOU'LL GET MORE OF YOU VIEWS AND DIMENSIONS PUT ON THERE.
