so i hooked my fi ssd 18 up and it sounds good till i start bumping and then i hear a little whistling sound .... then if i turn it up louder i hear a rattling and idk if its the sub or if it is the car... im also freaking about if that whistling is from that little hole that i filled up from my previous forum... i had a little hole in the surround that i sealed with silicon... i havnt got my amp fully tuned right yet but i dont think that could cause any of this and what is the low pass filter and the subsonic filter

today while i was putting my sub in the box i noticed a tiny hole about 1/8 of an inch across but flapped over will that make a difference cuz when i found it i was freaking the fuck out please help

That should be fine since you will never really see 1200 watts from that amp.

Then I wouldn't put much more than the 800 rms into like FI says unless you got BP power
then 1200 would be good

Keep the box its max reccomended size, or a tad bigger!
Just build the box inside the trunk.

if your box is about 4.5 and you're going to throw some more power then reccomended the that s all right
well ima be running 1600 watts of brutus hifonics power is that the amount of power your talking about

well i mean i have plenty of room its just idk how to get it in there lol... i had 7 cubic feet that can fit its just it cant get into there... ive been experimenting with building 2x4 skeletons to try and fit it in but it hasnt gone to well

well 4-5 most likely about 4.5 cubic feet... and for that other guy i did measure i have plenty of room its just the getting it in there factor lol
