  1. a decent amp to power a BTL is gonna cost you more than just the amp. theres electrical upgrades you gotta consider etc etc

    well of course lol I wouldnt do it any other way. Gonna get a new alt, new battery front/back, my big 3 is 4awg now but when i get the btl they will be 0/1awg

  2. Well see thats where I'm dumbfounded cause I had it bridged and had my gains almost all the way down an that shit would still pop.

    another reason why I wont get a new one for that sub is cause I plan on selling the sub, the amp aint mine, and getting a btl. so when i do get a new amp its gonna be a big boy toy

  3. like 200w...IMO why dont you get a bigger amp? your highs amp would power that thing better

    I would but I dont have the money. I just dropped 400 bucks to pay off probation. Luckily they let me off so now I can start savin my money again rather then pay them lol.

    But 200 doesnt sound right, that shit hits hard for 200 if it is.

  4. I'm tryin to figure out how many wrms my sub is getting with this kenwood amp. Its a Kenwood KAC-7203. here is the specs I found.

    # RMS Power Rating:

    * 170 Watts x 2 Channels @ 4 Ohms

    * 250 Watts x 2 Channels @ 2 Ohms

    * 500 watts x 1 Channel @ 4 Ohms (Bridged)

    Now if my w7 is 3ohm and Im running it off one channel NOT bridged, how many wrms would that be?

    I had it bridged but It kept popping one of the fuses on the amp. Any idea why?
