  1. I completely agree. Except for when you see a group of hot girls. I mean come on Sexy ass car with a sexy ass system. Can't go wrong
  2. nothing seems to be loose. I pulled it out so it is right in front of me and even when i push down on the cone you can hear it.
  3. YES! It is possible. My 12" audiobahn 1206t 2200 watt max before last night set off 5 car alarms. And with the system off my exhaust can set them off as well . What I mean by before last night is now my sub is producing this rattling noise.
  4. Ok, so everything was perfectly fine yesterday and then all of a sudden my sub starts to make this rattle every time the bass hits. Right now I have 1 12" Audiobahn 1206t hooked up to a boss class d riot amp. Sub is 1100 rms and 2200 max and amp is 2500 watts. I know boss amps suck it's temporary. What could be the problem. Could it be the voice coils on the sub or could it be the amp.
  5. That will be very nice. Soon to be a hella bang. Hopefully you start a build thread so everyone can see the work being done.
  6. Again like he said it will not defeat the purpose, so it is all on your decision. But then again what else are you going to be running in the truck???
  7. Agree completely "hdorre" but if somebody is really looking for great quality sometimes the extra cash spent will help. Me personally I would do it if I had the money but also I would not be getting an eq with 6 or 7V outputs, 3 or 4V seems just fine. If I were him I'd sell the eq and buy another.
  8. If it were me... I would. I know there is a Kenwood HU that has 5V outputs but I believe it runs about $450 to $500.
  9. Thanks chewie for the help. For some reason I was adding a second wire to both remotes instead of splitting the main remote. All works now and I'm loving it. Thanks again everyone.
  10. I couldn't tell you lol. I was able to wire a kill switch to my ignition but somehow can't do this. I will give it one more shot.
  11. No GO!!!!!!!!! I added a wire from the AMP REM to a switch and then Added another wire from the HU REM to the switch and it did nothing.
  12. So if I am understanding this right then one wire goes from REM behind the HU to the switch and the other goes from REM on amp to switch.
  13. are you meaning one end connects to remote lead behind HU and other connects to remote lead on amp?
  14. I have a switch hooked up to shut off the HU but that cuts off the amp as well. I have another switch right next to it that I want to have hooked up to the remote to cut off only the amp that way I can still keep the music playing. The switch has two leads and I know one lead connects to remote but where does the other connect to??? PLEASE HELP. Thanks.
