Pretty much rock pumps me up more than rap.

LOL. This is one of the best games I've ever bought. I still like halo 3 multiplayer better though.

Yeah, that happened.
BUT, I finally got them things in. I actually almost gave up cause I was so frustrated.
My wiring is horrible, it will fail in a few months. But I just wanted to get it done.
The subs are real nice. but not really loud. Anybody got suggestions for the low pass and high pass? I don't know what the subs can do. And the other settings?
I still have to set the gains on the LOC. I'm pretty sure the subs will be louder then. But they really pound now, just not too loud.

I played the tenor saxophone and trumpet back in middle school. The high school I went to didn't have a band
I play the saxophone in concert band and marching band. The trumpet in jazz band.
My brother is using the trumpet now for band now. The sax was a school rental.
But I'm trying to get a rent to own one. I got the itch again.

I ordered 2 12" RE SE subs from someone on here.
A ported prefab box.
A hifonics bxi60 mono 600 watt amp.
I already got my amp kit a few days ago.
And I'll post pics after. I did order speakers but they won't be here today.
It's my first system so nothing over the top just yet.

Haha OK. I'm going out and running the power wire and wiring up the LOC before everything else gets here.

I'm so excited. UPS should be on it's way with my subs, box, and amp. This is going to be my very first system.

x2.... i mean dont get me wrong LOVE RAP! but sometimes just need to mix it up a little, even some rock would be good!
x3 Rock in a good system must sound really great. I don't have subs yet(hopefully have them in by the weekend) but I bump rock in my stock system and it sounds great.
Cause there is the bass drum, and bass guitar.

Found this song while browsing dub step songs on youtube. Has some nice bass, at least I think so. Has a decent bass sweep in it too. Check it out.

CL is great for selling cars. i sold my "first" car on there and it didn't even run. the only thing that sucks is the spam email you get.

lowes and other places can cut your wood for you. then all you have to do is glue and screw.

No not just any enclosure will work. I would never suggest getting a make your own box kit by any means. I'd suggest just doing a little research, getting a design made for you and then trying to build one yourself. You need very basic tools to build one yourself and just take your time doing so and you'll be proud of your finished product.
What subs did u buy btw??
I have a person who is helping me with this suggest this box here.
They are 2 12" RE SE subs.
I don't have any tools that I can use. And renting them would equal more $$$. This is already costing me more than I wanted to spend.

Ok, first off don't kill me for saying this, but I think I saw a kit to make your own box at walmart. it's been awhile that I looked but I think they have them.
i have subs that will be on their way, but no box for them. Shipping one is out of the picture, and having someone do one too. So I find one that's already made, or make it myself.
Also will any box that holds 2 12" work? As long as it's deep enough to fit the subs?

I'll sell you my 12 RE XXX with the box for $400 and then sell you the amp to push it. A brand new(ish) RF t1500 birth sheet shows 1650 rms at 1 ohm. I'll do 750 for all three.
I'm just south of you and would drive to meet you if interested. =)

Hell, I can do it. And I don't really know what I'm doing
I'll have to get around to doing it myself, since I just noticed today my headlights dim too. But I've only had my system for two weeks.
From what I heard doing the Big 3 helps A LOT.
