  1. Made some changes to the van for the Saint Judes show, Got a few changes coming, the first one is it has matching subs in it finally, We put Xlm2s in it =] They sound great, we handed out demos all day yesterday and got some new tears in the sheet metal on the pass door

This thing is amazing loud. Especially if if got any louder after the subs freed up. I didn't bail but after my eyes quite watering and I looked at the meter I was impressed with myself for not bailing!!

Yup its a little louder now, Switched some stuff up and ordered some other things.. hmm what could they be

I picked on to 2 things that you mentioned that would be a possibility. We shall see if IM a good listener

  3. Might have to switch out the m1 5s for the m2 6s haha ;) DC FTW!

Plan on doubling if not tripling your power for that one.

They take some power. I had 2 5ks strapped and they took every bit of it and never got even stinky. 4+hour drive before the comp I tried my hardest to get them broke in and after about 3 hours my body couldn't take the punishment anymore. I had to turn it down. First time I've ever turned down a stereo because I just couldn't take it any more.

  4. Those 6's were getting it in that Yota and the subs sounded bad ass too. Can't wait to see that 56+ its in there.

Thanks, and I was very pleased with how they sounded. already got a couple changes in mind for when I get my own pair of m2 6s as IM in the hunt for a 56@29hz now! I don't have any good pics and I don't have any video but I do have a couple crappy pics

  5. Good job bro... and awesome score... that thing is brutal for 2 subs... I thought you had me at bassrace..we were neck an neck lol... good meeting you...as far as which subs they are..let him tell you.. they are beasts..wish I had 4 of them

Hey bro Saturday was a blast! Both runs were way close. It was good meeting you. Thanks for the demo too. I hope next time I see you we are next to eachother again! the subs came to life Sunday on the low end. I didn't get it metered there though. Saturday after you left I burped @25hz. Did a 51.4 I believe. Rob can verify if he reads this.

  6. Id like to thank you guys at dc once again for everything this weekend. I finally achieved my goal this weekend. Did a 155.5@29hz sealed on the dash.

Rusty, amazingly designed subs, Rob taking the time to make the soft parts work, Anna for sewing the quad tinsil leads and John helping me get the subs in the box!

You guys are running an amazing business there, keep up the A+ work!!

    nice work out there

btw which subs u got n how many...

    what power u running

    Thanks Man

I was testing a pair of proto m2 lvl6 18s off 2 dc5ks. Wired pretty low. Vehicle is a 93 toyota pickup with a walk through. They were installed in a 6th order that peaked @ 29hz with m2 xls. Played the lows very well!!!

  8. And just to think If a certain somebody didnt tell you to still run through the lanes with one sub you wouldnt of... Gotta have faith in ur build bro.. And stop having user errors... ahaha

Thanks for talking me into running on one sub bro. Sometimes I get a little worked up and need a little pep talk. And you are right on the user error. I need to stop, but that dang volume knob is a powerful drug and ill work on it but until I get this 6th order to ply full tilt down in the teens I can't guarantee anything :-)

  9. Damn... 54@29hz, impressive :good:

Any idea what you were clamping?

Thanks. I haven't clapmed it wired where its at. Last month down at autoroma rusty and Yeo helped me clamp it. I HD it wired @ 1ohm. Don't remember all the #'s but I do remember it clamped just a touch over 1450 (i think we figured each sub was seeing 736) and I did a 50.1@29 so I wired down to 1/4 but havennt clamped it yet there.

  10. nice score!

does ur 6th order peak that low? whats the tuning on front & rear?

I don't have access to a tl so out side of being in the lanes I don't have much time on a tl. When I went down to autoroma I played on Thors tl for a couple minutes and my peak was flat from 29-34 Hz so I of course had to use a 29hz tone because a 54@29 sounds cooler that a 54@34 in my book because I love the lows.

Now don't quote me on this as I can't remember the specs on any of my boxes and I don't have my black book handy but I believe the back is tuned @30 and the front @55.
