  1. W'sup Everybody

A co-worker was parting out his stereo because he is selling his car. When he showed me his equipment I saw the EQ and took it off his hands. I know Eclipse is really good in quality, but I wanted to ask around here if anyone has or has had any experience with this particular EQ?

Any feedback or input would be great.

  2. Try the sticky/no hole method first and if that doesn't work you can try the other way and might invest in a hook/pick set which have L's and "?"hooks you can get in behind the dent and pull with. (pretty sure it's thicker vinyl on a JL sub)

I didnt have any glue, but I did try the Vacuum route which wasnt successful at all. Damn Dust cap is pretty thick! So, I had to resort to useing the "?" hook which worked but I had to make 2 small holes to get the best result. It aint pretty, at least to my eye's, but they Bump Real good for now...

I have to locate ma'damn USB cable for my Digi cam to upload pics. I wish I coulda provided before and after's, my appologies, my work sched isnt that great : ^(

  3. Whats up Everybody

Friday a good friend of mine sold me a pair of JL 12W3 D4's he had in his Explorer. They sounded great when he had'em hooked up, So I had some interest in'em. I figured I could use these until I get the cash I needed for what I really want.

Well on the way home I stopped at the store to get some things and I come to find my 2 1/2 yr old pushing in the dust caps on one of the subs. At first I was pissed seeing my lil' boy damageing my sub but I cant really hit him. Hitting my boy isnt gonna fix my sub, beside's, I got the subs & box for $50. Not trying to brag or nothing, but I had to jump on the deal.

So now I'm wondering about 3 things:

    1) try to fix the sub? (but how?)

    2) find another 12w3d4 to replace the damaged one?

    or

    3) Salvage the good sub and get another enclosure for a single 12 and ditch the old box & damaged sub?

    Any replies would be great

    Daniel
