I just traded my 2 18" Audioque HDC3 18s for 2 12" T3 audio T2000's. I got a 2009 Buick Lucerne,I got 2 options really, I could go subs/port back with a slot port, but the guy I got them from was saying I should fire the Subs up port back suv style with 4 6inch aero's with 8 inch flares. What do you think the better setup would be. Back seats don't fold down,It does have a rear center console hole from trunk to cabin, and the rear deck 6x9s are going to be taken out so I can get some more some more air passing into the cabin. What are the pro's and cons. Also what should they be tuned to?I got room for about 7 cubes gross. How much port per cube do these things like I know audioques like 20sq inchs per cube?I'm looking for a somewhat flat frequency response and I'm trying to be able to play from 30hz-68hz. I probally could fit subs/port back but only 2ith 2 6 inches aero. Also I seen someone go Subs back Port to the side as in one to the left side and one to the right side

Anyone know of a headunit that works good with 16gig SD cards or thumb drives, and has 4 volt preouts/ 5 band eq/ 3 sets of preouts for under $250?

I've heard people talk about using a USB External Hard Drive, and Headunit with USB but is there any that can sort through the artist's/albums like a ipod?

Is there headunit that can use a sd card but control it like a ipod? (ie break everything down on a sd card into artists,albums etc?) what about a headunit that you can hook up a external usb harddriver and break it down into artists,albums etc? Im just trying to look for the cheapest way to get a mass storage that I control from my headunit Idea's anyone?

What is the recommended airspace for the 18s? I guess I should ask what are they for the Z and Nightshade and are you expecting them to be different for the x's

Is it possible to swap a 6 speed auto from a new expedition into my 2000 expedition so I can attempt to get better than 12mpg? Would I need to mess with the harness in order to do that?

I assumer you're in a suv do you goto the windowline or to the headrest? Does it hit hard 55hz to 65hz?6 sa12s ported vs 6 sa 15s sealed off a saz 3000d @ 0.7 ohm goals are 145 on music 150s on tone and a flat response that is loud on all music

BUT the box will have to be about 12cubes and about 120sq in of port tuned at 30hz for nice flat response with a good deal of output.
Ive messed with SA-12s enough to know what they like.
I have my 6 SA12's in 12 cubes with 130" of port tunes to 34 and it hammers. I have played with port sizes from 87" up to 150 and the I agree with Eric about the 120-130 range. Tuning is a different story, I dont see a need to tune that low, but to each there own..

Will there be a x18?!?!?! if not any idea when the x15 will be ready? I know you guys dont probally have a date but like 4th quarter next year 3rd quarter?

What about subs firing to the trunk lid and 3 6 inch aero's with 8 inch flares to the rear? I could do that or I could do subs /slot port to the rear. The rear speakers are going to be taken out of the rear deck so more air can pass through so, I'm gonna have a ski hole in the back seats and two 6x9 openings in the rear deck for air to pass through.If I did Ports to the side I could only do 2 ports to the side. The whole trunk is going ot have a whole lot of Damplifier Pro btw.
