  1. batterys in the back just run wire straight to them pos to pos neg to neg should be fine fuse em and as far as the alternator hit up dc power if you look up top there is a advertisement dc power click it and contact Robbie

they said they don't have any alts that will fit my car..but they'll make a custom bracket to fit it...and still charge me the same as the 240amp.

Will I have to do any re-wiring in the car itself?

  2. well, I wanna make show just as much as SPL.

I wanna make it sound like there's a sh*t ton of bass, because there is a ton...you know?

Ok, since I already have the the 12's in a ported box...what can I do to improve on box-wise. It's a crappy custom box.

What's the best material, and how do I make it properly?

Thanks for the idea on the AQ hdc's. I want to try them out, prolly on the next car...

  3. what 12's are they? dont mix and match subs it just wont sound right and you will have cancellation issues, id go ported for sure but thats all personal opinion and it depends on what your goals are for it

the 12s are Kicker L5's...I knw not to mix subs... I want to make the whole system RF except the subs.

but anyway, what's really the difference between sealed and ported?

I'm going for SPL., I figure Mr. Meade, turned a honda civic into a SMD. I'm gonna make a nissan sentra...plus I have still yet to see a sentra beat hard. I figure run 6100watts through it... :search: I've seen a video on youtube with a dude, running around 11.xx through the cap...I'm running average of 14.50

  4. sup guys, SkittleZ again...

    I have a nissan sentra (2006)...

got 2x 12inch Kicker L5's being pushed by a 2000watt amp, and an AudioKick cap.

The system hits harder then anything around here, but I want to hit hard...so I got a 3300watt Rockford amp, and 760 Pioneer amp.

Yet, I'm have some trouble makin room for them, and for the batteries...which brings me to my question

how do I hook up the extra batteries so it's pretty safe, and won't cause a short or fire.

I'm trying to find bigger alternator for the rig. Havin trouble with that.

I want to run the 760 for the mids and highs, but the 3300, and 2000 for the lows.

I do plan in the future gettin at least 2 more Kickers. But room is limited like I said, so it'll be awhile for them.

  5. Hey guys, I'm new to the site, and hope to be a long time member.

I'm a little new at car audio...but I want some opinions.

I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra. (small ass car)

But, in the trunk I have a set of 2x 12inch Kicker SoloBaric L5's. Being pushed by a Lanzer-Vibrant_268 2000watt amp. They hit pretty hard. But I want to got my hands on a 12inch RF sub, and a RF 3300watt 25 to Life series amp, and a Pioneer 760watt amp. Just about 6100watts if you doing the math. Not bad from a car the size of a pack of gum.

I'm gonna end up puttin it all in the car and hookin a kill switch for the subs. but my stock RF head unit is comin out for a Kenwood KDC-x591. The stock speakers are starting to worry me...what should I get for doors, tweeters, and 5 1/4? I want everything to come in clearly...what can keep up with the subs?

I ain't worried about money, after deployment, I'll be gettin a nice chunk of change...so...any recomendations?

    thanks guys...
