Yeah. I does. High air pressure inside + low pressure outside = air moves out of the car. Woofer cone moves again, low pressure inside the car + high pressure outside = air moves back in the car. It just does that a bunch of times per second. Should be 40 times a second at 40Hz.. but it probably doesn't work out that way. Bottom line is molecules always look for density balance in a gas ....

the amp only puts out 80 watts per chanel at 2 ohms.. how much do you think your gunna get at 8 or 16 ohms? not much at all. and did any one else notice that stereo is spelled with an e

also how are you planning on running this in a home? its a car amp

I'd like to add that Fi BLs and BTLs always are safe on more than rated. Especially with the upgrades.. a BL is rated 1000 but can do 2000 easy daily. There's guys that are doing it right now.

Shit you need more batteries. and an alt if you can swing it. but at least another battery.
and 5g wire? where did you even purchase that?
Just do the big 3 in Knu 1\0 and do a run of 1\0 (or 2 runs) to the back... and make sure you have a super solid ground in the back.
and for a ground under the hood, use the shock tower. works best in my experience, but someone can feel free to correct me.

You can do hair movements off of 2 12s.
a full on hairtrick.. that's at least 4 15s, a well-designed box, and a shitload of power.
A hairtrick is caused by the air moving in and out of the window rapidly, so imagine how much air must have to come out of the port to move air in and out of a whole window.
just some thoughts.

DO NOT DO THIS. its just not a normal phone cord, each wire goes to a specific pinout. if something isnt in the right place theres a chance to fuck shit up.
well is the connector for a bass knob on an MTX amp RJ11? or is proprietary?
and it would only fuck shit up if the wires crossed over in the cable, making the pins at one end not correspond to the pins at the other.
and if you think about it, there's no real reason for MTX to do that. it would just make custom cables necessary and would also cause a number of broken\fried amps due to people using phone cords.
then again, if it's not RJ11 or RJ45, that's a different story....
to the OP:
can you look inside the female jack on the amp and count the number on pins?
and does the connector look like a computer network jack (8 pins) or a telephone jack (4 pins)?

Why does wire size matter? So I guess all those little wires that make your vehicle run shouldn't need fuses either since they are small LOL..
yeah. the wire would burn up before the fuse would.
kind of defeats the purpose unless it's a small fuse...

to respond to this last post i have aside mount but i have the longest effing screw youll ever see in it lolz but i was wondering silly question with the soldering part i saw a vid guy use like a mini torch we have a thing like that but mom uses it for cooking stuff i forget what its called but its just used to burn the top of the food for looks lol think that will work ? i mean it puts off alot of head and a flame so
that mini torch is used for caramelizing things...lol. it might work.
but I just do this:
- get my length of wire stripped
- put the wire in the vise (not tight, just to hold it)
- slip the terminal over the end
- get my big mapp gas torch and heat up the ring end for about 20 sec
- start putting solder in the hole! and keep going till its coming out the other end.. i hit it with more flame every 5-7 sec to keep it hot.
- when it's done ... just let it sit for a few to cool off
- then i wire brush it. smooths it out plus it cleans it a little
- you now have a sexy strong and superconductive terminal

Well, I think I narrowed it down to two possibilities. When I left for work yesterday there was still hardly any bass and the knob still wouldn't adjust anything. I started messing around with the bass knob cable and voila, it starts playing like it should. So my guess is it's either the bass knob itself, or the cable. Figures that the one thing that I bought brand new is what has problems.
Haha how many times i've said that to myself.. couldn't count....
but is the cable attached to the knob? and what amp is it? if it has the RJ45 connectors and wire like the RF amps do.. you'll be in luck.. just pick up some ethernet cable...
