  1. That does sound cool. I hate those cars, but find what people do with such a confined space interesting. Actually, I did see one PT Cruiser I liked one time. It was pearl white. I am not sure how you get that color, it was special edition or something, I believe.

My friends sisters system isn't worth 2 cents in my opinoin... but she has a body kit and some shiny ass rims on that bitch and it looks damn good for a PT...

  2. Ive already got a set of cerwin vega comps, they are like a month old. I can't spend that kind of money right now. How ever today im going to peel n seal my rear doors around and behind the speaker, get rid of the little bit of rattle and hopefully make it better.

you ever use peel and seal before?

    I have...

Theres a few words of advice I have if you haven't before... and no, it's not "Don't use it" srsly... I have plans that make it work a lil better in my opinion.

  3. You're asking what we think of downgrading systems? I have a question for you...what do you think of small titties?

I prefer 8's and not fucking 28's I mean 8 inchs bro, fucking low rider for the win.

2:30 AM for the lose thought that said tires... fucking asian right now... eyes that is... god damn roflmao at myself....

    :yahoo:

    bed time?

  4. I can answer number 1, the Aero comes with pre-made flares, pvc does not have flares. Without the flares, you can get turbulence and port noise. However, you can make flares for pvc, its just extra work.

I'll take a stab at number 2, I know that if you make the port too small, you will get port noise, like a whooshing sound as the air travels in and out of the port. As the port gets bigger, that noise goes away. But I'm pretty sure, as the port gets bigger, you get a narrower response (more of a peak), where as a smaller port can give you a flatter response (less of a peak).

Rounding the ends of a square port does the same as having flares on your aero/pvc ports. It reduces port turbulence and noise.

So if I use a router and round off where I put a PVC for a port, it will be an aero?

aero ports are preformed and bought. you see people using pvc as a cheaper alternative. PVC may also induce port noise depending on install.

2 it has to do with port area. a larger box typically shou;ld have more port area. the squareo port as you call it has the ends rounded for increased air flow. it can be done a multitude of ways. kerf cuts is one way.

    What is a kerf cut?

boxs with those huge ports are fart boxs aka burp boxs. Designed to play a certain freq. loud as hell

So like those people running 2 12's in a CRX with multiple big ass aeros coming out of it.
