  1. Steve, So I'm not the only one that thinks some days my system hits harder than others ... Cool. It seems like it hits harder with only me in the truck also. Oh well, Hopefully next time I'm in CA. I can get a demo, I try and make it down there once a year or so. Lots of props from another audiofreak/basshead in Alaska.

Same here, and the other people thing IDK but it also seems one day a song will suck on it's boom and the one that normally sucks slams but the next yesterdays song sucks... and one day I have to turn the gain down to hear the highs and mids the next it's back to normal, and I have an amp on highs and mids. 0.o WTF?

  2. Holy shit! hahaha, but that kind of voltage drop would burn out the amp in very short time right?? or am i wrong? i had a Kicker zx1500.1 (i know there´s no comparisson, not as strong building as the stetsom) but, with 10v and 11v voltage drops the amp didn´t last even 2 months!! haha, i use to be a noob, i wouldn´t do that again in my life, but that´s why i´m asking :pardon:

Got that from another thread, I was wondering, can I ruin my amp by my voltage hitting down to 10v?

  3. hey i have two crunch 15's and two hifonics 15's all wired to 1ohm with a audiopipe aqx3500.1d and belive it or not the subs are in a sealed box .

im wondering if i can port it without having to rebuild it im out of room in the trunk of my impala completly.

try to help if can thanks

Sell one set, go to lowes buy some MDF and the other shit to build a box, and do what I found I should of done ages ago, and don't run mix matched subs.

  4. STOP! Don't touch your system or think about changing it now! First you should consult with more people on this forum before dropping another dime. Secondly, The fact you said buy ANOTHER "custom" box scares me especially since it's expensive... MDF is like 35 a sheet here... and you can build them yourself easily just takes time. Now I'm no expert on here, but thats just my input....

  5. sounding good bro cant wait to hear it screwed!

Didn't save it, but I fixed some chopped stuff, slowed the whole thing at -25 in audacity... sounds pretty good, but I usually slow the whole thing at -5 then go from there and slow different parts and different speeds. I've recently found I like to fade in and out, but I don't plan on fading all the way out anymore, because my friends were like dude that gave me a head ache but other than that it's good, so I might not do the fade at all, but the phaser effects, and other effects I'm gonna try... if people actually like my stuff I'd be surprised I didn't think anyone would really like it...

  6. Have you checked how bad the songs you 'made' are clipping? Not saying they are, but it's always a good idea. I definately wouldn't play something in my car that's clipped to shit.

I'll put to you this way, the hondaxpower and the other guy that have the bass added songs, yeah... hondaXpower taught me the basics of audacity.

short answer: my stuff doesn't clip.
