With two 12" re sx subs, and that amplifier wired to 2-ohm, on stock electrical you are probably seeing around 900-1000 watts. 140 is very do-able with a good enclosure. Sure another amplifier would help, but you shouldn't need it to do a 140. I'm sure you'll get plenty of advice from the people on here. I did a 141.5 on stock electrical with two old-school 15's on about 400-500 watts total.
My 4 Kicker comp 12's running off a 600 watt amp, getting 150 each, will hit 142.6 at 55 Hz on a termlab, and it's not ported for SPL, and still the port needs to be changed anyways...

ok thought that would work but wasnt sure....if the speakers were 90rms each how large of an amp would he need? 150 a channel? or 100 a channel?
90 RMS 2 speakers a channel, the amp should put out 180 RMS at 2 ohms if your running it at 2 ohms, and MAKE SURE IT'S 2 OHM STABLE! trust me, having to buy a new amp because yours shuts off all the time...

Blow a memphis 1100 watt amp you've had for 3 days, and the amp you were using on your higs is fucked up, the one you were using temporarily blows speakers because it's too much power, and you're running 4 4x6's off your head unit for highs, and trying to hear the words over your 4 12's... FUCK THAT!

besides its CEA rateings not SAE rateings which the sundown amps arnt CEA rated

sure Sundown is SAE certified it says so on the amp
We didn't know if it was or not, and the mounting location was not worth the time to get it out, the only thing you can see is the gains and what not...

The fact of the matter is I was in a SPL Comp today, and the guy running the thing owns a shop...
Things that make me laugh about him and make him seem stupid in my eyes...
When you pull up for your run, he says "Do you want to use my disk, or yours?" [before you can answer] he then says "My disk is louder" (If you use his disk you start on track 19, it runs a sweep and he tells you where you peak at, you go to the track with that frequency and run it...)
Well... A guy at the comp let me use his disk, told me just play track one... Track one, is a loonnngggg siinnneeee waavvveee and it goes from like 200 to 20 and it took about a minute and a half... [Pissed the guy off] and I hit 2 DB higher... on my second run with the other persons disc.
Then, when it's all over, a few of us were talking to him, and we started asking about brands... and he spits out cadence and some others, well this guy had a Fi 18, and ask if he had heard of Fi, and he says "No, what is Fi" -A subwoofer company- "well I've never heard of them, and I've been building systems for a long time" -What about Sundown- "No, not heard of them either..." -Well my BTL is running off a sundown amp, and I wouldn't trade it for any other amp- "well unless it's SAE certified, it's not putting out the power it says it is" this went on for a while, and in the end, half us were laughing... and we went through those brands up in the title of the post...

Parents buy there fucking kids everything they fucking want because they fucking want the most expensive fucking shit in there fucking brand new 2010 tahoe so that they can have the best fucking system at school [so they think] and they pay for fucking sound on wheels [local car customization shop, really expensive] to put some fucking big ass rims and there system in and I have my fucked up looking S-10 that I have to bust my ass to keep gas in, and had to bust my ass even harder to get the system I have with my 4 bottom of the line Kicker Comp C12's, some craigslist amps, another amp I just got to put more power on the subs, just blew 2 speakers yesterday... and this little fuck stick pulls up with his JL 12's bumpin and when he hears mine fucking talks about his is so much louder because he's got JL and it cost three quadrillion and a quarter million dollars to install it all... and his fiberglass box is custom made to make it louder than any other box in the world, and the gain has to be turned down or his windows will break....

Build your own box, do it the right way, look around, IDK much about the port area, but I know you can't just put a tube in a box, or a slot in a box and call it ported and think it's gonna be louder...

I'd get a quad cab long bed chevy dually truck and just have at it with a blow through and slam the thing to the ground, double sided 5 percent tint... one off set of custom rims... subdown subs/amps... Mac setup, and my imagination just went bye bye...

Im doing the slides. The thing with the Dials is they are basically an Asanti wheel and I really wanted something different. Slides are fairly common on the interwebs. Nobody has them around me though.
Ive thought about doing the lips red as well and Ive been toying with the idea of the whole wheel colormatched. I plan on doing an SS bumper, a black and red grill setup and a roll pan this summer. NExt will be the brake kits. I just dont know if i can fuck with the red wheels or not.
What are the current rims on that thing?
