Had 4 comp 12's on a SAE-1000D.
250 each, they're rated for 150. Handled it fine.

subs on the passanger side port on driver side...
5 cubes tuned to 35hz with 8 0 square inches of port
with 1000 watts u should be much louder than a 142
i just did this and with 400 watts it was 146's on music

about how many watts is each subs getting. im curious because i wana put a 2500d or 2200d on my sa 12s... afraid they will break.
There's a guy that has 2 running on a 3000D at .5ohm Daily...
According to a large amount of people on this forum, they can handle tons of power as long as they aren't clipped.
I also have 2 SA-12's in a 4.5 cube box tuned to 33hz running 1000D at 1 ohm right now. Plan to put more power on em.

What's his box tuned to? Keep in mind I plan to run this power daily and play lows.

Read that plenty of times and seen plenty of vids, but I tend to ride around with my stuff way turned up so this would have to work daily.

my friend (fibtlforlife) had 4 12" pioneer shallow woofers (sealed) on a like 1000w memphis amp. he switched to a single BL FL 12 in a ported box, same amp, and he swore up and down it was much louder.

With the proper power and box I think it has great potential to be louder
It will definitely have both of these along with proper electrical: 1/0 big 3 and HO alt.

I turned 18 yesterday and for my birthday I got 2 SA-12's Dual 4 ohm 600 watts each.
Currently I have 4 Kicker Comp 12s running 1000 watts I believe they are rated for 150 each.
I know it is frowned upon to ask if something will be louder, but I hit 140 to 142 with my setup now, are these two going to be as loud?
I know the SA-12s are higher quality, handle more power, and overall are better subs, but I'll cut my cone area in half.
Both setups would be tuned to 30 to 33 hz for the box.

Mine sounds pretty good from what people tell me.
