I have a mechman 270a alt on my 99blazer . thinking about trading in for a newer truck,looking at tahoe. can my alt be sent in a reworked to fit a newer truck? dont know if it will be old style 2006 or a newer body around 2008.

my truck sat for a long time then i spent around a week working on it with the doors and hatch open forgot to disconnect the battery so the interior lights were on a lot So now when i drive it idle volts are around 12.1v and i have to have high rpms to get 14v. i have big3 and 0 gauge running to my amps 1200w and 360w rms. i want to charge my battery but never had to do this on my xs batt so i dont knoe how to do or what to look for in a charger. Also i hear a little noise now could it just be my alt has gone bad?

s1o chevy blazer, and the 3400 was the largest i could fit underhood, so with that underhood how much additional battery do i need in back with my amps?

have good room in back, its a suv,and i dont plan on going past the 2500 mark

got a d3400 already underhood and big 3. stock alt 105a. want to run a 2000w sub amp and 300w mi/high amp. what size battery do i need in back to support this ? i know i may need a bigger alternator but that later on the list

I did but I didn't quite understand. The max amps part I get ,but the reserve on. The d series has a # and amp hours. The s1200 has 80a . Don't think that little cell has 80a hr of reserve. Just a little confused.

Ok thanks will I need any special bracket? And how does that batt compare to the d3400 I put in my blazer?

Just would like to know what xs batt fits my car.. its a 2008 chevy ss impala. 5.3l. . Think I seen something on it about group35.not real sure.
