I have narrowed it down to these 3 amps. Which amp would put out the most, cleanest power? I just cant make up my mind. BTW it will be powering a Fi BL 18.

Ahhh i love the box dimes man, espatially one with a 350 stuffed in it! I will be putting a built 5.3 on a 100 shot into mine soon after i get this system knocked out. If she hits a 143 with a single 15 on 400 then my 18 on 1000 better be at least 140 capable and thats all i want! LOL.

No i dont have it, all i have so far is my RF mids/highs and amp from above list. What style battery do recommend from powermaster or kinetik?

Do you guys think that i could get away with just doing the optima yellow top and a stock alt.?

What size is your box? No electrical ups at all? Thats crazy, does your volts drop real low when it's runnin at full tilt?

Oh yeah man, i wasnt bashing big trucks, i love em! I would one day like to have one so i can have the best of both worlds. I just dont like how the people around here talk down on me stricly because i have a lowered truck.

Thanks man, I have fully restored her.. LOL. I think i live in the wrong place, everyone around here hates my "lowrider" truck and my bass and my "big wheels", they all drive big jacked up trucks, so its good to hear complements about my truck once in a while. LOL

Ok I will soon be starting my new system. I just wanted to post it up and get some opinions from some people who actually know some stuff. lol Oh btw this will be going in my 99 Ext. Cab S10 Xtreme. - 1 fully loaded FI BL 18" @ 1ohm - 1 RF T1000-1BD @ 1ohm - 7cuft 1"MDF box tuned to 33Hz (calculated with bracing and sub displacement included) - RF 6.5" componet system - RF 4x6's in dash - RF P400-4 for mids+highs - Alpine CDA-9886 HU - Optima Red or Yellow top (which is better for systems?) - DC power 230 amp alt. - Big 3 - Power will be fed through 1/0 AWG wire to a dist. block with 4awg going to both amps (it will be fused 6" after batt.) That should about sum up the main componets. All i want is to be able to hit around 140db with it, and I've seen a BL 18 do almost 150 in a little bigger box. But once again let me know what you think and anything you reccommend or maybe change. Thanks for any help.

I've been talking to some of my buddies about starting on my system and one of my friends said to go with a 4" speaker in the dash (its a 99 S10 BTW) with and adapter instead of a 4x6 because they sound better. But my father says otherwise, just wondering what you guys think would sound better. BTW im going with RF power series 4's or 4x6's... the newer version.
