  1. legality for a wall depends on the state think your alright in ohio though, I would do 1 chamber with a large port, and from what I've seen at the shows and on the site most people go with the port on the driver side.I'm sure someone with more experience then myself will chime in here, but this is just what I have seen the most of. I'm starting my first wall build this year also and been doing alot of research check out some of the wall build logs you can get alot of info from them.

  2. How many amps are you running and what amps are they? What vehicle is it going into? Guessing you want to stay with 12v? Are you going to be playing with the vehicle off a lot or mostly while it is running?

Nathan its going in a 2003 chrysler Town and Country, amps are going to be a 7.5k DC or 2 Sundown audio 4500's, I would like to stay with 12 volts yes, and vehicle will be running most of the time this is my daily driver.

  3. This is going to be for music don't really have that many comps around here that I know of, although I do hope to do 150 with it. The wall is going to be behind the second row of seats, have my boys to pick up from school and what-not, thinking maybe 4th order if I can get ahold of mike singer also hoping to get my alt from him, and i'm sure 5k will go pretty quick my wife is getting a little more on-boar with this, so a little more will probably fly, lol.

  4. I've had the D3's pretty good for the price I paid didn't hit the lows that well but still nice and loud. My daughter has 4 8's in her trunck right now don't know the series there older but i built the box at 3.5 cubes ported and tuned to 34hz with a old school reference 1.0 and they sound amazing really great SQ for subs hanling twice there rms.

  5. Live in Indiana but originally from Cali athough its been so long since I was there I prob wouldn't recognize it. Actually lived pretty close to San Jose about 45 min away used to take road trips there all the time. As for the vehicle its going in a Crysler Town and Country, going to wall it. I got the SPL bug this year at slamology getting a demo from Blake and the NASTY DC Suburban thing was sick. As for it not being enough I figure I'll run it for a year or 2 and then upgrade to lvl 5's and 4 5k amps i'll be able save up more money in that time, but for now i think 4 18's and 5k will be enough.

  6. So going to do my first system with a fairly good budget 5k. wondering if i can pull the system off with this budget it covers everything from alt, bats, sound deadener, wiring, subs, mids and highs and amps. The only thing I'm sure about is I want to run 4 DC lvl4 18's a 5k amp and 175.4 amp you guys think i'll be able to pull a system of this kind with the budget I have. Already talked to my state DC rep. and the subs and amps are going to run about half of my budget, if I have to run a little over my budget I can prob pull it off just not to much over.

  7. Running double there power shouldn't be a prob. as long as you dont clip them, I have 2 15's only handle 500w RMS and I am running 2k to them double the power just not clipping used a o-scope to set the amps. I would see if someone around you has an o-sope you could use if not keep the gain down no bass boost. x2 on what TEAMHT said
