1990, a cousin got an old VW Bug that had a pair of 15" Alpines in place of the back seat. Other than 6.5's in the door, I don't remember any other specifics. It was the coolest thing that I had seen to that point.
Banned in the U.S.A. and Lower the dynamite...
1994. My first system, 1988 Escort, 2 15" Series 1 RF (svc 4 ohm with the gray cones in a slanted sealed box that filled the hatch) on a 600 watt 2 channel Power Acoustic. 6.5 3-way Kenwoods and Sony 3-way 6x9 on a Panasonic CD. Stinger wire.
Added to it a 4 channel 600 watt PA for the mids/highs and a Profile crossover.
I thought of it as a kinda sleeper of sorts. Plain white 88 Escort with only a CD player visible.

That is what I needed to know.
Thanks!

I am thinking of doubling up my 6.5 components in my front doors, I am unsure on something though.
When using 2 sets of components, do you have to use all four of the crossovers?
Can you run 2 mids and 2 tweeters wired to just one of the crossovers?
How does this effect the impedance?
Thanks in advance for any help on this matter...

This seems a little obvious.
Have you applied any sound deadening material to it? ( Second Skin, Fat Mat, ect. )

I would avoid the Soundquest wire.
It is way small.
I got some of the 0 gauge and it is about the same size as my stinger 4 gauge.
I was trying to get by cheap.
Lesson learned.

I learned early on that you get what you pay for.
